On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the official website of the Bleach anime unveiled the preview synopsis and images for Bleach TYBW episode 35. The anime episode, titled Don't Chase a Shadow, will be released on Saturday, November 30, at 11 pm JST. The anime will be available to watch on Disney+ and Ani-One Asia.

The previous episode saw Zaraki Kenpachi, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, and their subordinates confront the Soul King's left arm Pernida Parnkgjas. While Kenapchi tries fighting the entity, Mayuri soon takes over the fight and uses his modified Bankai Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō: Makai Fukuin Shōtai to contain Pernida.

Bleach TYBW episode 35 preview hints at Mayuri failing to contain Pernida

The anime's previous episode saw Mayuri Kurotsuchi use his modified Bankai "Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō: Makai Fukuin Shōtai" to contain Soul King's left arm Pernida Parnkgjas. However, as hinted at by the preview synopsis, the Division 12 Captain might have failed in his endeavour.

With that, the anime episode could likely focus on their battle. Such a development could see the Gotei 13 Division 12 Captain reveal some new tricks up his sleeve. In addition, the anime could also see Nemu join him in the battle. However, it is to be seen how she helps her creator.

Bleach TYBW episode 35 preview hints at Shunsui Kyoraku finally stopping Lille Barro

As seen in the anime previously, just as the Shinigami entered Wahrwelt, they were attacked by the leader of Yhwach's elite guard: the Schutzstaffel, Lille Barro. Using his ability, the Quincy shot down numerous Gotei 13 Lieutenants, leaving the Captains and remaining Lieutenants worried about their next actions.

As revealed by the anime's preview, the upcoming episode will see the Gotei 13 Captain-Commander Shunsui Kyoraku try and detect where the enemy is hiding. This is because, until they locate him, there is no chance for the Shinigami to stop and treat their injured colleagues. Fortunately, Shunsui will successfully locate Lille Barro in the next episode and initiate a fight against him.

Ichigo is set to confront Askin in Bleach TYBW episode 35

According to the preview images of Bleach TYBW episode 35, Ichigo Kurosaki is set to confront Askin Naak Le Vaar. As fans may remember, in his last appearance, Askin managed to incapacitate Arrancar Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. Hence, Ichigo will likely be led to believe that the Quincy defeated the Arrancar and go after him to learn more.

However, with most of Askin Naak Le Vaar's ability still a mystery, it is difficult to deduce how the confrontation will unfold. It is very much possible that Ichigo manages to defeat the Quincy. However, if the Quincy manages to incapacitate Ichigo as well, it would be a good opportunity for the anime to give some spotlight to the supporting characters.
