According to the official synopsis, the narrative for Bleach TYBW Episode 36 will shift to the Fourth Branch District of Wahrwelt and resume Mayuri Kurotsuchi's battle against Pernida aka the Left Arm of the Soul King. As seen in the previous episode, Pernida obliterated Mayuri's modified Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo.

Since he is the Soul King's Left Arm, Pernida continues to evolve, absorbing information from the battle. However, Bleach TYBW Episode 36 preview suggests Nemu Kurotsuchi will intervene and face Pernida. She will finally break her shackles and fulfill her mission, disregarding Mayuri's orders.

Nemu joining the battle was subtly hinted at in Episode 34, where she hoped the 12th Division Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, wouldn't need anyone's assistance in the battle. Besides Nemu's intervention, the preview images for Bleach TYBW Episode 36 show Nemu as a child and Akon.

In other words, the episode will likely explain Nemu Kurotsuchi's backstory, which has been unexplored till now. Nemu knows about her own power, so she will try to surpass her limits and assist her master in the best way possible.

The Bleach TYBW Episode 36 preview images further show Pernida with a Quincy Bow. Thus, in addition to focusing on Nemu, the episode will highlight Pernida's new powers. As for Mayuri, he is seen wearing a discontent expression on his face. It remains to be seen how the 12th Division Captain reacts to Nemu's intervention in the episode.

According to the preview images and synopsis, the episode won't likely continue with the Shunsui Kyoraku vs. Lille Barro battle. However, it remains to be seen whether the episode at least confirms Lille Barro's fate.
