With the release of Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 12, the anime finally adapted the fight between Jugram Haschwalth and Bazz-B. The anime episode was majorly a one-to-one adaptation from the manga. However, Pierrot Films inserted some anime original scenes and altered chronology of some events for a much better-watch experience.

The anime episode finally revealed the history behind Jugram Haschwalth and Bazz-B. While the Sternritter Grandmaster was Yhwach's confidant, he was once weaker than Bazz-B and had assumed a brotherly relationship with him. Unfortunately, a twist of fate saw Jugram leave Bazz-B behind to work directly under the Quincy King.

As Bleach manga readers would know, the latest anime episode featured several changes in chronology of events. While the anime episode adapted from Chapters 630 to 634, it opened with a flashback scene from Chapter 631. For this, Pierrot Films animated Pages 3-5 from Chapter 631. This scene gave fans a glimpse of Jugram and Bazz-B's first meeting, helping them realize what the episode was going to be about.

Following this scene, the anime queued its opening theme song, after which it resumed adapting from Page 8 of Chapter 630, which is where the previous episode ended. The rest of the anime episode was pretty much followed the same chronology of events. The only difference is that the anime omitted the previously adapted scenes and featured some original visuals inserted by Pierrot Films.

Pierrot Films added some original scenes to flesh out Jugram and Bazz-B's past

As seen in Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 12, while Pierrot Films remained true to the source material, they added some original scenes to expand the flashback scenes.

Manga readers might remember how Bazz-B dictated his family' fall at the hands of Yhwach and his army. However, the anime did not adapt it the same way. Instead, it gave fans some visuals of Yhwach's men killing Bazz-B's family and destroying his home. Following that, the anime also showed both Jugram and Bazz-B ramaging through Bazz-B's home to find things that could help them survive.

The anime original scenes didn't end there as Pierrot Films added another scene that saw Jugram and Bazz-B camping. This is the scene where Jugram Haschwalth is seen doubting himself. However, Bazz-B motivated him to train alongside him to fight Yhwach in the future.

Lastly, the anime added some original scenes to expand what was depicted in the manga. These scenes entailed some glimpses of Jugram and Bazz-B training during their five-year training period. Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 12 also showed some glimpses from the time when Bazz-B first joined the Sternritters. He wanted to fight Jugram. This scene was adapted differently in the anime as compared to the manga.
