Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 1 recap
After a brief recap of the previous season's finale, the episode begins with Yhwach awakening his true powers, A: The Almighty, after 999 years. The Quincy King's ability breaks free the fallen Schuzstaffel members, including Uryu Ishida and Jugram Haschwalth from Senjumaru Shutara's confinements.
With newfound powers, Uryu engages in a duel against Senjumaru. Although he fights valiantly, the Zero Squad member traps him once again with her Bankai's fabrics. Yet interestingly, she finds herself in Uryu's position, trapped by her own Bankai. The Quincy then shoots an arrow and eliminates Senjumaru.
Elsewhere, Ichibe Hyosube erects a mausoleum, Futen Taitsatsuryo, to try and defeat Yhwach. However, the Quincy King's Almighty eyes see through the attack and pose no threat to him. He then counters, with an overwhelming thrust, to obliterate the Manako Osho to pieces.
Following that, the Schutzstaffel members, Jugram, and Uryu reunite with their King and pay their respect. Yhwach then heads to the Soul King's palace to accomplish his mission. Meanwhile, Ichigo Kurosaki arrives at the Royal Palace. He hears Ichibe's voice in his head, requesting him to call his name.
As soon as he does that, Ichibe's obliterated corpse regains shape and the Manako Osho comes to life. He urges Ichigo Kurosaki to stop Yhwach, if not kill him. He adds that it will take some time for his actual powers to return.
Elsewhere, Shunsui Kyoraki is seen entering Muken, where Aizen Sosuke is sealed. Meanwhile, Yhwach enters the Soul King's chamber. The episode ends with the Quincy King stabbing the crystallized figure of the Soul King.
