Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 8 witnessed Mayuri Kurotsuchi in action against Pernida Parnkgjas, where the 12th Division Captain demonstrated his new Bankai, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo: Matai Fukuin Shotai. It's a modified version of his original bankai which gives birth to a new Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo based on the data he sends it.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi has always been an unpredictable captain. Unlike the other Soul Reaper captains in the Gotei 13, he can modify his Bankai according to situations. Bleach TYBW part 3 episode 8 saw one such moment where the 12th Division Captain had no choice but to think out of the box.
His opponent, Pernida Parnkgjas, was the Left Arm of the Soul King, who could control objects, living or non-living, using its nerves. The Sternritter's Schrift, C: The Compulsory was a formidable skill Mayuri had to counter. He cut off a few fingers of Pernida, but it reproduced itself.
Additionally, the severed fingers grew into additional hands, thus becoming the actual Pernida's clones. Pernida asked Mayuri whether he was nervous as its severed finger grew into a new hand. The 12th Division Captain, who wanted to take a piece of Pernida back to his research lab, realized it would be a hard task with the being reproducing itself.
Moreover, Mayuri recalled how he once read that the Right Arm of the Soul King represented Stagnation, while the Left Arm stood for Advancement/Evolution.
