With the release of Blue Lock chapter 266, the manga series saw Michael Kaiser finally succeed in executing his Kaiser Impact Point Magnus shot perfectly. With that, the German striker helped Bastard Munchen take the lead against Paris X Gen. As for Isagi, he was left bewildered by his rival's goal.
The previous chapter saw Kiyora Jin making his borderline decision. With his backward spin pass, he baited Isagi and had the ball stop right before Kaiser. This was an ideal situation for Kaiser's new weapon. Just then, Rin Itoshi and Charles Chevalier arrived to block his path.

Blue Lock chapter 266: Kaiser's wish to be loved is revealed
Blue Lock chapter 266, titled Superstar, picked up right from where the previous chapter ended as Michael Kaiser was about to strike the ball with his Kaiser Impact Point Magnus shot. Just then, Rin Itoshi and Charles Chevalier arrived to block the shot's path.
The moment Kaiser struck the ball, it started moving toward the left, getting past both Rin and Charles. The ball seemed so off-course that Raichi Jingo and Aoshi Tokimitsu were convinced that Kaiser had miskicked the ball again.
However, Yoichi Isagi immediately realized that there was something different with Kaiser's latest goal attempt.
Unlike during his previous attempts, since the ball had stopped for a fraction of a second due to Kiyora's pass, the situation allowed Kaiser to strike the ball the way he intended.
With that, the German striker had made the air his ally, helping him generate a lot of spin on the ball. Even Alexis Ness could be seen cheering, hoping the ball would bend towards the goal.
Right after, Blue Lock chapter 266 switched to Kaiser's past. Once when he was young, upon getting angry at the ball for hitting him in the face, he kicked it away and began walking towards his home. However, he valued the ball highly, hence he went back to retrieve it.
Following that, Blue Lock chapter 266 saw Kaiser's father repeatedly kicking him back at home.
Right after, Michael Kaiser is shown sitting in his room and expressing his dreams to his ball. Kaiser wished to earn a lot of money, eat good food, become human, and if he was super lucky, be loved.
The manga then switched back to the present as Kaiser's shot evaded the goalkeeper due to its constant bend and went inside the goal. With that, Kaiser helped Bastard Munchen take the lead against Paris X Gen. But most importantly, the goal helped Kaiser shift all the momentum back to himself.
All Yoichi Isagi could do upon witnessing the goal was praise Michael Kaiser by calling him a "Superstar."
