Blue Lock chapter 267, titled 'Golden Ticket,' saw all the players being shocked after witnessing Michael Kaiser's supergoal. They could not believe the shot's trajectory and were left questioning Kaiser's mindset in wanting to try something so crazy. The shot's trajectory and speed were so unrealistic that Charles Chevalier believed it to be a fluke.

Right after, Hiori Yo questioned Kiyora Jin about why he picked Kaiser over Isagi. According to Kiyora, both Isagi and Kaiser were going to score regardless of whom he picked. The reason he picked Kaiser over Isagi was because Kaiser was being viewed as the underdog at the moment.

Hence, if Kaiser were to score from his assist, it would seem like he made that possible. Considering how Kiyora was left with less time to impress the world, he needed to rack up valuable credit quickly.

In hindsight, Kiyora Jin wasn't siding with anyone. He was only playing for himself and had no idea with whom he would side in the next presentable opportunity. Even Yoichi Isagi knew that Kiyora Jin's pass played a massive role in Kaiser's goal.

However, it all started when Kaiser changed his approach and passed the ball to everyone, showing his openness to work with others. But such an analysis wasn't enough for Isagi as he had already deduced Kaiser to be a wholistic ego type of player. Thus, he needed more information on Kaiser.

Blue Lock chapter 267 then saw Alexis Ness going to Michael Kaiser to praise him. Just as Ness began praising Michael Kaiser's mentality, the German striker stopped his partner. Kaiser thanked Ness for supporting him from the very beginning. Ness was the reason why Kaiser was able to play with freedom in Bastard Munchen. However, Kaiser no longer needed such freedom and wished to play under restrictions.

With that, Kaiser ended his partnership with Alexis Ness and asked the Magician to find a new king to follow. These words drove Ness to tears as he was left helpless on the field.

Upon hearing this conversation, Yoichi Isagi realized that there was another dimension to a player's ego type. A player was not just restricted to being a wholistic or individualistic player but also a freedom-oriented or restriction-oriented player. With that, Isagi increased his understanding of each egoist's mindset.

Right after, Blue Lock chapter 267 saw Michael Kaiser going to Yoichi Isagi. He thanked Isagi for helping him evolve into his new self. He was feeling better than ever and challenged Isagi one last time. The player to score the next goal would be determined as the king of their generation. Even Isagi was hyped up about this challenge because if he were to defeat Kaiser, he would effectively be handed the golden ticket to becoming the world's best player.

Just as the two strikers agreed to the challenge, Paris X Gen forward Rin Itoshi glared at them, hoping to assert his dominance in the match.
