Blue Lock chapter 268 was released recently and went even further with people's reactions to Michael Kaiser's goal, with Rin Itoshi being the one most shocked by it. Furthermore, Yoichi Isagi took matters into his own hands and didn't want to be left behind, which resulted in a clash with Kaiser, although that was when Itoshi decided to finally react and step in.

Rin has been struggling as of late and has failed to tap into that berserker state once again, which is something that he pointed out in Blue Lock chapter 268. However, the most recent chapter ended with a cliffhanger of him slowly getting his groove back and engaging with Isagi for another clash.

Blue Lock chapter 268: Isagi and Itoshi clash once more after the latter's reaction

Blue Lock chapter 268, titled 'Pressure!!,' started with the bulk of the Uber players reacting to Michael Kaiser's goal, which had everyone shocked in their own unique ways. Don Lorenzo was seen following his bizarre antics as he was eating popcorn, Barou was already thinking of what Yoichi Isagi's next move would be, and Niko Ikki even mentioned that Kaiser not obsessing over the protagonist anymore was probably the best course of action for him.

On the pitch, there were a lot of reactions coming from the P.X.G. camp, with Shidou Ryusei asking for his teammates to do something or if they were simply going to self-destruct. Karasu Tabito was already thinking of leaving Ryusei unmarked so he could score some goals, which was echoed by Tsurugi Zantetsu.

Perhaps one of the most interesting details in Blue Lock chapter 268 was the conversation between the two mentors Noel Noa and Julian Loki. It was Loki who showed interest in Kaiser's sudden evolution. Although Noa told him he should focus on his team, which was "falling apart," the former mentioned that he didn't care about the result as he was expecting the event to take his players to a whole new level.

On the other hand, Isagi didn't want to be left behind by Michael Kaiser and tried to take the game by the scruff of the neck. This was something that most players on the pitch realized as he and Kaiser were becoming the most dominant footballers at the match, giving their team a lot of momentum at the present moment.

Arguably, the most interesting reaction in Blue Lock chapter 268 was the one of Rin Itoshi, who was left shocked at what Kaiser and Isagi had been doing for so long in this match. This was further emphasized by Itoshi's insecurities after losing to Isagi a while ago in the series and feeling that he was being left behind because of his own shortcomings.

Itoshi was also trying to tap into that "berserker" state he reached during the U-20 match but failed to do so, adding to his frustration. However, by the end of Blue Lock chapter 268, there is a moment where Rin manages to get closer to that state and goes after Isagi, with said chapter's final page being an image of him chasing the protagonist in a very ominous manner.
