According to the alleged Blue Lock chapter 272 spoilers, the upcoming chapter will be titled 'Rock-Paper-Scissors.' The manga chapter opened with Julian Loki's narration as he spoke about a phenomenon in sports where players subconsciously kept their mouths open or stuck their tongues out. The top athletes did that to relieve excessive tension and relax their bodies. However, Rin Itoshi had his tongue out too much, which was wild.

Even Noel Noa seemed impressed by the true nature of Blue Lock's No. 1. Blue Lock chapter 272 spoilers then switched to the match-up between Rin Itoshi and Michael Kaiser. That's when Yoichi Isagi joined them, hoping to steal the ball. As for Kaiser, he wished to duel with Rin alone.

While previously Rin felt this way about Sae Itoshi, he now wanted to "kill" Isagi and Kaiser. Hence, Rin tried to get both Isagi and Kaiser to charge at him but Kaiser did not fall for that trick.

Instead, it was Alexis Ness who joined Yoichi Isagi in trying to steal the ball away from Rin. Just as Ness succeeded, he asked Kaiser to rate his press. However, Kaiser no longer considered himself Ness's master; hence, he did not care about it. As for the ball, it dropped to Charles Chevalier. Just as Charles gained control over it, Ryusei Shidou started making his run, hoping for a pass from the French midfielder.

Kaiser could understand that Rin was Blue Lock's No.1 and Isagi had been evolving to defeat him. Essentially, the relationship between the two rivals was the center of Blue Lock. As for Kaiser, he planned on stealing the main character's seat away from them.

Just as Kaiser thought this, he blocked Charles Chevalier's long pass to Ryusei Shidou with a header and addressed the midfielder as a side character.
