With the release of Blue Lock chapter 275, the manga finally saw Rin Itoshi overcome his illusion of Sae Itoshi. While he had a tough time defeating the phantom, Yoichi Isagi's presence allowed him to overcome the same. This development saw Rin Itoshi scoring his ideal goal all while colliding with Yoichi Isagi.

The previous chapter saw Rin challenging Isagi to give him his all, or else he would disqualify him as his rival. Soon after, he asked Charles to give him a smashing pass. Adhering to the request, Charles provided Rin with a rabona cross. However, the trajectory even made it possible for Shidou to score the goal.

Blue Lock chapter 275: Rin's impulse to defeat Isagi sees him score his ideal goal

Blue Lock chapter 275 opened with an explanation of Kunigami Rensuke's positioning. While he was meant to man-mark Ryusei Shidou, Zantetsu Tsurugi pinned him down. This allowed Shidou to challenge Rin Itoshi on the receiving end of Charles Chevalier's rabona cross.

This development made Rin Itoshi think about his next move. If he continued with his shot trajectory, he was bound to get interrupted by Ryusei Shidou. Therefore, he changed his route and moved diagonally towards the ball. While it seemed like he was running away from Shidou, the ball's height made the shot attempt even more difficult.

Rin Itoshi planned on scoring the goal with a bounce shot. With that, he wished to update his personal best. That's when he again started seeing the illusion of his brother Itoshi Sae. Despite Rin's tough path, Sae's illusion labeled Rin's shot attempt lukewarm. With that, Rin realized that his murderous intent toward his brother had effectively stopped him from coming up with new ideas.

Hence, Rin hoped that someone would help him give himself a new impulse. That's when Yoichi Isagi appeared in front of Rin Itoshi. He wiped away Itoshi Sae's illusion and challenged Rin, staking his life on the line to stop the goal. Unbeknownst to Isagi, he happened to help Rin as his interruption allowed the PXG striker to come up with a new idea to overcome the suddenly presented challenge.

Thus, unlike what he had previously planned with a bounce shot, Rin jumped up to connect with the ball with a scissor kick. As for Yoichi Isagi, he stayed true to his word. In an attempt to stop Rin, he collided with him. Nevertheless, Rin managed to connect with the ball perfectly, sending the ball to the top right corner, bypassing all of Bastard Munchen and Paris X Gen players that were standing in his way to the goal.

As one could guess, the ball flew into the goal, effectively completing Paris X Gen's equalizing goal against Bastard Munchen. Rin Itoshi finally scored his ideal goal. Rin Itoshi was bleeding from his nose due to his collision with Isagi but felt really good after satisfying his desire for an ideal goal.
