With the release of Blue Lock chapter 279, the manga saw Yoichi Isagi fail to read Michael Kaiser's "Kaiser Impact Point - Magnus" free kick. In addition, it showcased just how quick Julian Loki was while using his godspeed weapon. While the development was inhuman, it was what made the Master Striker special. This also explains why Noa considered Loki his biggest threat.
The previous chapter saw Noel Noa create an attack alongside the Bastard Munchen players. While Isagi tried joining him and Kaiser, Noa used him as a decoy. It was then revealed that Noa had always joined Neo Egoist League to help Kaiser evolve and act as a rival for himself.

Blue Lock chapter 279: Julian Loki's godspeed destroys Kaiser Impact
Blue Lock chapter 279, titled 'Soccer Junkies,' opened with Michael Kaiser preparing to take the free kick against Paris X Gen. But just as he was preparing for it, he asked Master Striker Noel Noa if he actually joined the Neo Egoist League to help him evolve.
Surprisingly, Noel Noa did not deny this. Kaiser found this shameful on Noa's end as it did not make sense for the world's best to use underhanded methods to become better. In response, Noa revealed that he never intended to become the world's best. He only followed his instincts as a striker and was eventually given the title.
At the moment, Noel Noa considered Julian Loki his biggest threat. Hence, he asked Kaiser to surpass Loki and compete against him on the biggest stage.
Blue Lock chapter 279 then switched to Yoichi Isagi as he was thinking of how to deal with Michael Kaiser's free kick. He had two options, either to score the goal from a possible rebound or steal the ball mid-air. But for that, he needed to deduce where Kaiser would shoot.
As for Kaiser, he did not want to play in the same team as Noel Noa. He was finally starting to feel like "zero" and launched his free kick towards the goal.
Just before Kaiser launched his free kick, Isagi made his move towards the goal's left post. However, just as he reached the free kick's possible path, the ball started curving toward the right. This meant that Kaiser had used the Magnus shot during the free kick.
Just as all hope seemed lost for Isagi, he noticed Paris X Gen Master Striker Julian Loki making his move. But considering that he only started moving after the free kick was launched, there was no way he could reach it.
But surprisingly, defying all odds, Julian Loki blitzed past everyone to reach the ball, slaughtering Kaiser Impact. To add salt to the injury, Loki labeled Kaiser Impact "slow."
