Blue Lock chapter 479 will be released on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Hence, the alleged spoilers and raw scans for the chapter could drop a few days before the manga's official release. That said, not all fans would want to wait that long. Hence, this list will look at some predictions for the upcoming chapter 279.

In the previous episode, the world praised Igarashi after Noel Noa acknowledged his malicia weapon. Right after, the match resumed with Noa creating an attack alongside Kaiser. It is then revealed that the Master Striker had only joined NEL to become stronger by shaping Kaiser into a strong rival.

What to expect from Blue Lock chapter 279?

Michael Kaiser could score the winning goal with Kaiser Impact Point Magnus

As seen in the previous chapter, after Aoshi Tokimitsu fouled Noel Noa, the Master Striker handed the free-kick to Michael Kaiser so that the German striker could use his Kaiser Impact for the goalscoring opportunity. While Kaiser Impact was a very effective ability, it had a straight path that was predictable. Hence, Kaiser could opt to use the Magnus shot.

As seen in the manga, while Kaiser could use the Magnus shot during the match, it was most effective when the ball was not moving. With that in mind, a freekick is the perfect opportunity for the striker to score the winning goal against Paris X Gen. Such a development would also mean that Kaiser would win against Isagi in their final NEL challenge.

Julian Loki could block Michael Kaiser's freekick

As fans must have observed in the manga, Michael Kaiser's Magnus shot was nearly impossible to stop as it changed its direction mid-air. However, there is one difference between the striker's previous attempt and the oncoming free-kick attempt, the presence of Julian Loki.

Up until now, the Blue Lock manga has effectively only given Julian Loki one weapon, which is his speed. However, considering that he is one of the best young forwards in the world, it was near impossible that he would only have one strong weapon in his arsenal. With that in mind, there is a chance that Loki could stop Kaiser's freekick with his second weapon, which will be revealed in the upcoming manga chapter.

Yoichi Isagi could recreate his goal against U-20 Japan

While a free-kick is a great opportunity for the taker to score a goal, there is an even higher chance that the shot gets blocked by the wall or gets diverted by some defender. In such a situation, the ball could drop to players from either team.

With such a possibility in place, there lies a chance that after Kaiser's free-kick is blocked by Paris X Gen players, the ball could drop to Yoichi Isagi. The Japanese striker could use this opportunity to secure a free goal, recreating his winning goal from the match against the U-20 Japan team.
