Blue Lock chapter 280 will be released on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Hence, the manga chapter's alleged spoilers and raw scans could drop a few days before it officially releases. That said, not all fans would want to wait that long. With that in mind, here we have brought a list of predictions for the upcoming chapter 280.

In the previous chapter, Noa confirmed to Kaiser that Loki was his biggest threat. Right after, Kaiser launched his free kick. While Isagi tried to reach the free kick first, the ball's curve made it impossible for him to reach the ball. Just then, Julian Loki's Godspeed helped him to clear the ball away from the goal.

What to expect from Blue Lock chapter 280?

Paris X Gen could initiate their counterattack

As fans must remember, the manga's previous chapter ended with Julian Loki clearing Michael Kaiser's free kick away from the goal. This ball could be collected by one of the Paris X Gen players to initiate their counterattack. Considering that Zantetsu Tsurugi and Charles Chevallier were playing at right back and right midfield positions respectively, either of the two players should be able to pick up the free ball for a counterattack.

However, as seen in the previous chapter, Zantetsu stood in the wall alongside Tabito Karasu and Tokimitsu Aoshi. Hence, it should be difficult for him to reach the ball. Therefore, the next chapter could start with the ball dropping to Charles Chevalier.

Bastard Munchen could be presented with a corner kick opportunity

Given that Michael Kaiser's free kick was cleared away by Julian Loki, there is a chance that the ball could drop out of bounds. With that, Bastard Munchen could be presented with an unlikely corner-kick opportunity. Up until now, the series hasn't showcased many such opportunities. Hence, with a corner kick, the manga could spice things up in the next chapter.

While it is not known which Bastard Munchen player is assigned to take corner kicks, it could very well be Alexis Ness, who is renowned for his good passing ability. The Magician will likely aim to pass the ball to Michael Kaiser. However, this pass could again be intercepted by Paris X Gen Master Striker Julian Loki.

Noel Noa could initiate Bastard Munchen's new attack

As seen in the previous chapter, after Noel Noa asked Michael Kaiser to take the free kick, he moved away from the area. Given that the manga did not reveal Noa's positioning, the next chapter could see the Master Striker winning the free ball and initiating a new attack with Kaiser.

If such a development were to take place, Isagi would again be forced to find a way to involve himself in the attack. If not, there is also a chance that Isagi might try to steal Kaiser's possible goalscoring opportunity.
