Blue Lock chapter 288 (part 2) will be released on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Hence, the manga's alleged spoilers should only come out a few days before the chapter's official release. However, given the one-week break before the next chapter's release, not all fans would want to wait that long. Thus, here we have brought you a list of major predictions for chapter 288 (part 2).
The previous chapter saw Yukimiya Kenyu replace Igarashi Gurimu as a left-midfielder. This move essentially saw Yukimiya coordinate with Isagi and Kaiser to create a logical and destructive attack force. Karasu tried to stop this by intercepting a pass to Isagi. But instead, Yukimiya used Isagi as bait to make a solo run.

What to expect from Blue Lock chapter 288 part 2?
Yukimiya Kenyu may try to score a goal against Paris X Gen
As seen in the manga's previous chapter, Yukimiya Kenyu used Yoichi Isagi as bait to get past Tabito Karasu. With that, the manga could see Yukimiya dribble past the entire Paris X Gen team and make a goalscoring opportunity. He has already scored a goal in the Neo Egoist League but may want to increase his auction value more by adding another goal contribution to his statistics.
With that, the manga's upcoming chapter could see Yukimiya enter Flow state and make an attempt at a goal by either using his Gyro short or Sword Screw. That said, given the manga's developments, the chances of the midfielder scoring seem low.
Charles Chevalier could stop Yukimiya Kenyu
As seen in the previous manga chapter, Tabito Karasu failed to stop Yukimiya Kenyu. With that, the manga saw Yukimiya charge towards the goal using his skillful dribbling and speed. In such a situation, the only players that could stop him might mostly be the Meta Vision users. With that in mind, the manga's next chapter could see Charles Chevalier track back to defend against Yukimiya Kenyu.
While Charles possesses Meta Vision and has contributed to the defense several times in the match, he is not a defensive player. Hence, there is a very likely chance that similar to Karasu, he too may fail to stop the left midfielder.
Yukimiya Kenyu could set Michael Kaiser for a goal
As seen in the manga's previous chapter, Yukimiya Kenyu used Yoichi Isagi as bait to get past Tabito Karasu. This meant that Michael Kaiser was still available to coordinate during Bastard Munchen's attack. With that in mind, the manga's next chapter could see Yukimiya set up Kaiser with a goalscoring opportunity.
That said, Yukimiya might make a solo charge for the goal. Such a development could see Yukimiya's shot get blocked by one of the Paris X Gen players, following which Michael Kaiser could collect the second ball and make an attempt at goal using his Kaiser Impact Point shot.
