Blue Lock season 2 episode 13 & 14 will be released on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The upcoming two episodes are set to act as the ongoing anime's finale. They will be released one after the other at 11 pm JST on TV Asahi. The anime will be available to watch online on Crunchyroll.

The previous episode saw Oliver Aiku singlehandedly stop Blue Lock XI's attack and initiate a counterattack. Fortunately, Gagamaru and Reo stopped it and initiated another counterattack. While Isagi and Rin were in the center of the attack, Shoei Barou managed to steal the goal and help Blue Lock XI equalize against the U-20 Japan National Team.

Blue Lock season 2 episode 12, titled Flowers, revealed Oliver Aiku's backstory. In the past, he played as a forward but was given a supporting role. Hence, he was unable to bloom as a striker and decided to become a defender.

Right after, the anime saw Aiku singlehandedly stop Blue Lock XI's attack and initiate a counterattack. Fortunately, Gagamaru and Reo stopped it and initiated Blue Lock XI's counterattack. This time, the attack was centered on Isagi. But just as it seemed like he was going to score, Sae Itoshi stopped him, forcing him to rely on Rin Itoshi.

That's when Shoei Barou appeared out of nowhere and stole the goal, helping Blue Lock XI equalize the score.
