On Friday, October 18, 2024, the official website of Blue Lock anime unveiled the preview for Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 3. The anime episode will be released on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:30 pm JST. It will be available to watch on Crunchyroll.
The previous episode saw Isagi team up with Hiori and Nanase for the match between Team A and Team B. While Isagi tried to assert and coexist alongside Rin, Karasu made his efforts meaningless using his positioning. Later, Isagi identified a missing piece manifested from the lack of chemistry between Rin and Shidou.

Nanase Nijiro will save Isagi from Karasu in Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 3
As seen in the previous episode, Yoichi Isagi was having a tough time to assert and coexist in the match due to Tabito Karasu. Meanwhile, Hiori Yo started asseting himself by connecting passes with Rin Itoshi.
Similarly, in the next episode, Isagi is again going to be left stumped by Karasu's man-marking. Just then, he will be saved by Nanase Nijiro. As one must have observed, Nanase has yet to have an impact in the match. Hence, he will likely help Isagi get past Karasu, hoping to score some brownie points with Ego Jinpachi over his support skills.
Nanase and Hiori will support Isagi in Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 3
After Nanase starts supporting Isagi, Hiori Yo will join them, creating a trio between the three Team A players that are not part of the top six players. While fans are yet to learn about Nanase's weapon, Hiori's passing and Isagi's spatial awareness should help them burst past Karasu and manifest a goal-scoring opportunity.
That said, Karasu isn't the only opponent Team A is facing. If they do get past Karasu, there is a likely chance that Otoya Eita or Chigiri Hyouma could arrive to stop their attack. In such a situation, the trio could be forced to rely on Rin Itoshi or Ryusei Shidou.
Yoichi Isagi might score a goal in Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 3
Considering that the upcoming episode might be the final one that depicts the match between Team A and Team B, there is a likely chance that fans will get to see Yoichi Isagi score a goal. While both Rin and Shidou are miles above Isagi when it comes to being a striker, Isagi could likely capitalize on the missing piece he identified in the last episdoe and score the possible match-winner.
If Isagi does succeed in scoring a goal while playing amidst the top six players, there is a good chance that Ego Jinpachi will pick him for Blue Lock Eleven's starting lineup. Unfortunately, given the number of players yet to partake in the Third Selection Tryout, it could take a while before Ego announces the same.
