Blue Lock season 2 episode 2, titled The Killer and the Ninja, saw Isagi get teamed up with Hiori Yo and Nanase Nijiro in Team A. Surprisingly, there was pleasant chemistry between them, As for Team B, Karasu and Otoya were joined by Chigiri Hyouma, Kairu Saramadara, and Kyohei Shiguma.

While Isagi matched Rin's movements at the start, he was soon stopped by "The Assassin" Tabito Karasu. Soon after, Karasu helped "The Ninja" Otoya Eita showcase his ability as well.
