Blue Lock season 2 episode 7, titled Itoshi Sae, commenced from where it left off as Oliver Aiku made the initial move and showed team Blue Lock that scoring a goal against the U-20 Japan would be harder than they expected. After a throw ball and some failed attempts to pass, Aiki stole the ball from team Blue Lock and it landed at Itoshi Sae's feet.

Itoshi Sae then dribbled towards the goal and made three passes to his teammates as a way of analyzing their play. As none of them scored a goal, Sae took a shot from the corner, where he hardly had any angle, and scored a goal. His goal sent everyone from the Blue Lock team into tension as the crowd cheered.

As Isagi kept overthinking, Rin reminded him to stay focused and only follow his steps in the field. As told, Isago followed Rin as they kept passing the ball between them. Unfortunately, they were blocked but Bachira entered their passing circle, which gave Isagi a chance to move away and create a goal chance. Unfortunately, Aiku rushed towards Isagi to block any passes.

The ball was instead passed to Rin who failed to score a similar goal to Sae. The ball then went to the feet of Yukimiya, who also failed to score a goal, followed by another similar attempt. The ball finally landed at the feet of Nagi, who trapped two defenders and scored a super-goal by doing a 360-degree spin mid-air. His goal left everyone open-mouthed as the score was equalized.
