One Piece is entering its 'potentially' final arc with Nami and a part of the Straw Hat Pirates, who are currently kidnapped, and all eyes are on Elbaf Island. In all this, the fans want to ask which past ally would join the Straw Hat Pirates in their journey to find the final treasure. To satisfy the urge of some fans, the series could finally showcase the return of Boa Hancock.
Boa Hancock's Love-Love Devil Fruit is a game changer, but its only drawback is that it cannot convert its opponent back to humans after turning them into stone. Fortunately, this could be related to its awakening. Moreover, this could also be related to the previous devil fruit user's deeds, which could resurrect some 'extinct' races that would help their savior, Boa Hancock, in the final arc.

One Piece: Exploring the secrets of Boa Hancock's devil fruit and her role in the final saga
Boa Hancock, also known as the Pirate Empress, is a former warlord of the sea and the captain of the Kuja Pirates who resides on Amazon Lily. She was introduced during the Amazon Lily arc of One Piece, where Luffy was sent after Saboady Archipiloge's act.
She later made another appearance during the Wano arc when the Blackbeard Pirates raided Amazon Lily, and Marshall D Teech tried to steal Boa's devil fruit, the Love-Love devil fruit. However, with the appearance of Rayleigh at the eleventh hour, Hancock is saved, but Koby is kidnapped.
Hancock's devil fruit, the Love-Love devil fruit, allows its user to convert their opponents to stone who show any signs of love, adoration, or lust towards the user, with no option of returning them (at least not before the start of the Elbaf arc).
During the Wano arc, when Teech attacked Boa, she explained that her death, not Blackbeard having her devil fruit powers, could save the people who had already been converted to stone. So, the most probable answer to this would be that the awakening of the Love-Love devil fruit could most likely have the ability to nullify the effects of petrification.
Just like her sister, Hancock was given her devil fruit powers by the Celestial Dragons, but why did they have such an overpowered devil fruit? The answer lies in the origins of the devil fruits, which only the World Government knows about. After Ace's death, his devil fruits were summoned to Dressrosa Kingdom, a random location on the Grand Line.
However, the reality could differ. After a devil fruit user dies, it gets respawned to the nearest location with a similar 'shaped' devil fruit. So, nearest to the Marineford, Dressrosa Kingdom could have a devil fruit that is similar in shape.
This could also indicate that the previous user of the Love-Love Devil Fruit could be a World Government agent who used to care for people who represented races that endangered their existence, a prime example being the Buccaneer (Kuma's clan).
So, Hancock's devil fruit awakening would not only help the de-petrification of the Buccaneer clan members that were turned to stone by the previous owner of Love-Love Devil Fruit, this could also be a good addition to the Straw Hat Pirates as they enter the final saga for the ultimate battle against evil.
