With the release of Bogus Skill "Fruitmaster" episode 2, the anime saw Light reunite with Lena after the protagonist went up against the S-Rank party leader Grouse to strike a deal to free Lena. While this development saw Lena be subjected to smaller missions, she was happy.

The previous episode saw Light and Lena get forced to walk separate ways after the two received very different skills after eating the skill fruits. While Lena became an S-Rank adventurer, Light became a fruit farmer. However, in a twist of fate, Light received a second skill, allowing him to become an adventurer alongside his young housemate Ayla.

Bogus Skill "Fruitmaster" episode 2, titled Incomplete Light, opened right from where the previous episode ended as Lena behaved as if she did not know Light. While Light was shocked, Lena later came to meet him, hoping to clear up why she acted that way. The S-Rank party Sacred wasn't as good as people thought as its members only cared for results. Thus, given the bad environment, Lena did not want its leader Grouse to target Light due to her connection to him.

Upon learning about this, Light simply asked Lena to leave Sacred and join him and Ayla. However, Lena, despite tearing up, couldn't muster up the courage and decided to stay in the party.

Light wanted to help Lena, hence he directly spoke with Grouse asking him to allow Lena to leave the party. However, as expected, the party leader denied the request and kicked Light out of the S-Rank lounge.

Later, when the Sacred party members had a discussion, Lena mustered up the courage to express her feelings. She stated that she wanted to leave the party and tried walking out the door. However, Grouse stopped her and threatened her to stay by force.

The anime later saw the party heading out for a mission. During this, Light confronted them and challenged Grouse to a sword fight. He wanted to free Lena and was willing to wager his right to be an adventurer on his sword-fighting skills. While Light was able to keep up with Grouse, he was too distracted by his movements. This development eventually saw Grouse break Light's sword.

Moments later, the anime saw Light borrow a broom from someone in the crowd and use the same to defeat Grouse with a swift blow. With that, Lena was finally freed from Sacred. While she could have joined any party, she chose to stay close to her childhood friend and join Light and Ayla.

Unfortunately, the Holy Sister wasn't pleased with Lena's withdrawal from Sacred. Hence, she made sure that the Sword Saint would only be able to do small odd jobs as an adventurer. While the jobs themselves weren't fitting for an S-Rank adventurer, Lena always wanted to help people and enjoyed doing the same.

The anime ended with Light naming their party "Luxeria" and the Holy Sister specifically choosing the party for a seemingly dangerous mission.
