Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 is set to be released on Monday, October 21, 2024. However, days before its official release, the manga chapter's spoilers were leaked online. With that, fans learned about the series' latest developments well before the magazine wanted them to.

One such development was the team-up between Boruto and Kawaki. Given the Shinju's threat, the two brothers were now set to fight the Shinju together. With that in mind, Boruto conveyed one key information to Kawaki about Amado.

Amado was seemingly holding Kawaki back from reaching the full extent of his strength. While it may seem like he had no ill intent toward him, the fact that the information was kept a secret suggests that Amado could be the true villain of the sequel manga.

According to Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, Amado is hiding Kawaki's true power. The manga chapter saw Boruto asking Kawaki to confront Amado about his powers. Apparently, the scientist had put a limiter on Kawaki's attacking capabilities. This is why Kawaki was unable to become as strong as he could.

Moreover, Amado had also tinkered with Kawaki's defensive and regenerative abilities. As fans would know, the scientist wished to use Kawaki's karma to resurrect his daughter Akebi Sanzu. This meant that he needed to keep Kawaki alive at all costs.

Considering that Code was after either of the Otsutsukis for his plan to manifest a chakra fruit, Amado wanted to keep Boruto alive to keep Kawaki away from harm. For this, he limited Kawaki's attacking capabilities to the point that he could not kill Boruto. Moreover, if Kawaki himself were to be attacked by Code, his defensive and regenerative capabilities would be able to protect him.

While with this move, Amado was keeping Kawaki safe, it did not necessarily mean that he was doing it for his own good. Amado was protecting Kawaki to use his karma to resurrect his daughter. While it does sound like a noble cause, it could very well put Kawaki's life in danger.

Moreover, there have been several instances that suggest that Amado is the one controlling everything behind the scenes. One example of this is Eida's Omnipotence Shinjutsu. As explained by the series, Eida had no control over it. However, this was odd as Kashin Koji also had Prescience Shinjutsu but seemingly observed no such complications. Thus, there is reason to believe that it was Amado who activated Eida's Shinjutsu.

Also, Amado was keeping an eye on what Kawaki was doing. Unbeknownst to Kawaki, Amado had placed a camera on Kawaki to listen to every conversation he was having. Such a development suggests the scientist was planning something sinister behind the scenes.
