The Boruto manga series is progressing steadily, and the recent chapters have highlighted the strength of the Shinju. The protagonist has shown considerable improvement over the last few chapters, and it’s safe to say that he is far stronger than he was before the time skip.

Despite his impressive feats, it’s clear that the antagonists of this series cannot be taken down singlehandedly and that he would require assistance from other characters. Since the manga releases chapters on a monthly basis, the fanbase has come up with an interesting theory that speculates the possibility of Boruto creating a new team with members of Kara.

This is an interesting theory that doesn’t just look at possibilities but also derives the events by drawing parallels to the original Naruto series.

Fan theory explores the possibility of Boruto teaming up with what is now left of Kara

One common thing in the Shonen animanga series is that the mentor and their students often follow in similar footsteps. In this case, Sasuke Uchiha is the protagonist’s mentor, and a few things are common between them. Sasuke fled the village, trudged down a path of darkness, and finally joined the good side.

While it’s not the same with Boruto, he almost lost everything; everyone dear to him was forced to flee the village, and he eventually returned home. When we compare Sasuke and the protagonist, there is a clear overlap in certain events.

Based on these similarities, fans believe Boruto would eventually create a new team with people who were once the series' antagonists. Sasuke did something similar to this in the Naruto series when he teamed up with Karin and Jugo, thereby creating Team Hebi.

Similarly, the protagonist could create a new team with the remnants of Kara, an organization that was led by Isshiki Otsutsuki and later by Code. The latter was supposed to be a massive threat once his limiters were removed.

However, he was defeated in just one move and will not even be a secondary antagonist in the series. The protagonist could convince Code and give him a chance to redeem himself and turn his life around. Sasuke managed to do the same with Karin, Suigetsu, and Jugo.

Code could get a new sense of direction and help out Boruto as the series progresses. Another reason why fans believe in this team-up is because the protagonist already has Kashin Koji on his side.

Eida could also join this team-up. She didn’t like how Kawaki reacted to the situation when she used her Omnipotence. Her perception of Kawaki changed that day, and it’s unclear whether she has any romantic feelings for him. If she doesn’t, there is a possibility that Eida could also join this team.

The theory revolves around Kashin Koji’s current support, drawing parallels with Sasuke’s endeavors in the Naruto series. However, we urge the fanbase to patiently wait for the upcoming chapters to get clarity on the same.
