Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 9 spoilers made their rounds on the internet and Orochimaru seems to be involved. It’s quite odd bringing up Orochimaru in the manga because he was sidelined some time ago. He has been rather irrelevant to the plot progression and the writing was such that fans nearly forgot about his existence.
Early in the series, he was involved when the anime focused on his son Mitsuki. Eventually, as the series progressed, Orochimaru became less important. However, based on one small detail in the spoilers, fans believe that he could be returning to the manga.
This small detail could potentially explain how Boruto and Kashin Koji are working together in the manga series. Let’s take a look at the reason why fans believe Orochimaru, one of the three Legendary Sannin, is involved and how he could be helping the protagonist.

Why fans believe that Orochimaru could potentially be helping out Boruto in the manga series
The latest chapter of the series commenced with a conversation between Jura and Himawari. He also addressed Inojin, Shikadai, and Chocho, who were there to protect Himawari. After a couple of dialogues from both parties, the chapter shifted its focus to Boruto, who was seen sitting next to Kashin Koji.
The whereabouts of the duo were unclear. However, one thing that fans knew was that the protagonist was forced to use his Flying Raijin technique to enter Konohagakure. This meant he was quite far away, and intended to intercept the Shinju before they caused irreparable damage.
It was there that fans speculated the involvement of Orochimaru. In the panel, one can see the presence of a serpent-like object. Since their location was also disclosed, it could have been one of Orochimaru’s hideouts. The presence of that serpent-like object could be something that the group used to monitor the events happening in and around Konohagakure. Aside from the serpent object, one must pay close attention to the panels that showcase the place where Boruto and Kashin Koji rested.
It certainly appears to be a lair of some sort. There is an array of intricate pillars that lead deeper into the cave. Such an establishment is very reminiscent of Orochimaru’s hideouts first shown in the original Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series. Fans also hope that Tsunade is working with the protagonist and other characters like Kakashi, Jugo, and Karin. It would be interesting to see the protagonist receive a considerable amount of support when the stakes get higher.
At this point, Kawaki doesn’t seem like much of a problem. Some complications are bound to arise with the Karma Mode. In such a scenario, it will be interesting to see what the ultimate threat will be, and how the likes of Orochimaru could potentially lend a hand in such situations.
