Boruto Uzumaki received one of the best redemptions in anime history through Boruto Two Blue Vortex, be it through new powerups or a stronger aura than before. However, the biggest redemption that needs to be mentioned is his unique Resengan technique, the Rasengan Uzuhiko. The technique utilizes the planet's chakra, making it extremely overpowered.

When compared to Naruto's Rasenshuriken, Boruto's technique could be superior because Rasenshuriken possesses a lot of drawbacks, such as the user gambling his life to produce it. Moreover, as Naruto had Kurama, he was the only person who used this technique. However, Rasengan Uzuhiko, while still having some minor drawbacks, could be superior as it utilizes the planet's chakra.

Why Boruto achieving the Rasengan Uzuhiko might be something special

During the Naruto Next Generation series, the protagonist met his father's rival, Sasuke Uchiha, who taught him how to use the jutsu technique running through his family, the Rasengan. Although the protagonist faced some difficulties at the start, he eventually managed to master it in a short time, quicker than his predecessors.

However, as the protagonist continued his training, he also added Lightning Release chakra to it, creating a unique kind of Rasengan that was throwable and even disappeared before impact, making it a nifty technique.

After the Omnipotence arc, due to the request of his daughter, Sasuke accompanied the unfortunate protagonist outside the village and taught him everything he knew. This eventually leads the protagonist to achieve another variant of Rasengan, which could be the most powerful one yet, Rasengan Uzuhiko.

The technique utilizes Earth's chakra and combines it with the user, creating an impactful technique that has the power to take down any enemy. The protagonist used this technique against Code for the first time in Boruto Two Blue Vortex.

Even though the technique wasn't fully loaded, it was enough to make the antagonist incapable of fighting anymore. Moreover, this technique also destroyed Hidari, one of the Shinju, in a single blow, showing how overpowered it was. This also proved how talented the protagonist was, and he was able to utilize Rasengan to produce such a technique.

Naruto's Rasenshuriken was also one of the most powerful variations of Rasengan as it combines the Wind Release chakra to the extent that it amplifies the normal Rasengan and creates a deadly technique that can shred any enemy to pieces.

The technique was used for the first time against Akatsuki member Kakuzu. However, its fatal flaw is how it poses a threat to the user because the spin of Rasenshuriken can shred the body cells of the user into pieces, just like what happened to Naruto when he was exhausted. Moreover, as this technique uses a lot of chakras, only Naruto can perform it (due to Kurama's chakra reserve).

Compared to the protagonist's technique, Rasengan Uzuhiko could be considered better because its only flaw is that it needs time to charge, similar to Rasenshuriken. Moreover, as it utilizes the Earth's chakra, carrying a chakra reserve like a Tailed Beast is unnecessary everywhere.

The technique also doesn't threaten the user's life, at least not revealed yet in the series. All of these factors make the protagonist's feat of achieving Rasengan Uzuhiko something that Naruto could never achieve.
