As the series is slowly inching towards its conclusion, the secrets behind the Doujutsu will eventually be revealed.

One thing that the series has shown us is the prevalence of Shinjutsu. The name roughly translates to divine technique. Only a select few have access to such powers, and fans have reason to believe that the protagonist’s Doujutsu could potentially give him access to Shinjutsu.
