Chapter 14 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex is set to be released on September 21, 2024, but the spoilers have already sparked discussions.

The chapter showcases the despair of the protagonist after he is caught by Konohamaru after the fight against Jura. The episode contains the interrogation of the protagonist by the Interrogation Team of the Hidden Leaf Village.

After Jura fled the Hidden Leaf Village after receiving Hidari's soul thorn, the protagonist was caught by the Hidden Leaf Village Shinobi at a time when he was vulnerable. After getting caught, the protagonist was brought back to the Interrogation Room where the Konoha leaders and Ibiki Morino were present.

While the protagonist was brought in for interrogation, the chapter focused on his clothes that had the Uzumaki crest on them. Although the significance was not explained, it could be a plot device to focus on how the protagonist was still attached to his roots even though his roots betrayed him (due to the Omnipotence Shinjutsu).

The chapter further showcased the torture the protagonist went through after revealing everything he knew about the God Trees. Ibeki, who was already angry with him for killing Naruto, unleashed his fury after the protagonist revealed that Naruto was alive.

He was desperate to know about the whereabouts of his village leader but he didn't know that the protagonist's confession wasn't true. He revealed the truth about his father to tell everyone how the Seventh Hokage was safe but it backfired.

The Uzumaki clan was a stand-alone village at the beginning that had strong relationships with the Hidden Leaf Village due to their relations with the Senju clan (the first Hokage clan). However, their village was soon destroyed and the survivors were scattered around the world.

The last remaining members of this clan are from the lineage of Naruto which continued to Boruto Uzumaki and Himawari. Sadly, despite being one of the only survivors of this clan, the protagonist is facing hard times on account of his roots (as Uzumaki could be considered the same as Hidden Leaf Village).

The protagonist could have abandoned his origins and become a rogue like Sasuke Uchiha but he was adamant about proving his people wrong and wanted to show them that they were being betrayed due to a Shinjutsu technique.

This became evident from the events of the latest chapter as he kept the Uzumaki clan crest close to his heart even though he was beaten up by his village officials for intel regarding the protagonist.
