Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 opened with Team 10 taking Himawari with them to the southwest of their location. In doing so, they were trying to keep the number of casualties as low as possible. Around the same time, Konohamaru and other Shinobi reached the God Trees' location.

They weren't aware of Team 10's movements, so Shikamaru Nara explained the same to them. That's when even Kawaki learned that Himawari was in danger. Hence, he and Delta also headed towards her location. In the meantime, Boruto could be seen panting somewhere else as he feared mistakenly letting loose of Momoshiki Otsutsuki again.

Soon after, Jura could be seen going after Team 10 and Himawari. Even the Shinobi wanted to follow them, but they were stopped by God Tree Hidari who wanted to fight them. Around the same time, Sarada Uchiha and Sumire Kakei reached Konohamaru and Hidari's location. The moment Hidari learned that the girl was Sarada, his target, he used his claws to teleport behind her and attacked her with a Chidori.

Fortunately, Sarada activated her Sharingan in time, dodged the Chidori, and countered with her own Chidori. While she evaded Hidari's attack, Sarada was left shocked to see that the God Tree used Chidori, a jutsu that she and her father Sasuke Uchiha used.

Elsewhere, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 saw Himarwari speaking to the Nine-Tailed Beast within her conscience. As Himawari was confused about why she was able to speak to Kurama, the Bijuu explained to her about his return. Kurama explained that when a tailed beast passes away, their essence does not disappear. The essence later reappears and helps the tailed beast resurrect.

Kurama knew that a tailed beast could resurrect, but he did not know where they would reappear. Hence, it was also surprising to him that he was resurrected within Himawari. Was it because Himawari inherited his chakra, she was Naruto and Hinata's daughter, or was it just fate? Nevertheless, both Kurama and Himawari accepted their fate as one body and mind.

Moments later, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 saw Himawari waking up on a bird manifested by Inojin's jutsu. They were still being chased by Jura, who aimed a tiny-tailed beast bomb at them. Upon being hit by the same, Cho-Cho helped all of them land carefully by using her Partial Expansion Jutsu. Jura was impressed by Team 10's co-ordination. Unfortunately, he needed to fight them to get hold of Himawari.

During all this, Himawari repeatedly asked Kurama to help them. But there was nothing Kurama could do. Himawari was the only person who could do something about their situation. Her chakra and chakra affinity were far superior to any of her descendants, yet she was bound by her preconceptions. Until Himawari could believe in herself, their future did not seem bright.

Upon hearing the same, Himawari attacked Jura. However, Jura easily got hold of her and broke her leg. He then proceeded to trap Himawari in a Wood-Style Jutsu. Inojin was enraged by this and attacked him using a tiger manifested through his Super Beast Scroll. Unfortunately, his attack failed, after which he charged toward the God Tree.

Even Inojin was instantly knocked down. However, Jura did not stop at that and pierced Inojin with another one of his Wood-Style Jutsu. Himawari was left enraged by this as she lost her temper and tapped into Kurama's chakra. With that, the manga set up the fight between Kurama-Chakra-fueled Himawari and Jura.
