Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 was recently released and has sparked mixed reviews about the latest installment. Until now, the plot progression has been steady and the chapters have been entertaining to read. However, there were some noticeable flaws, that might have hindered Sarada’s character development in the manga.

Apart from that, the manga chapter had significant moments that stood out. It showed Himawari Uzumaki using a Tailed Beast Bomb, moments after understanding how to use Kurama's chakra. Furthermore, Boruto was witnessed saving both, Himawari and Sarada, with a technique that his grandfather popularized - the famed Flying Raijin.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 shows Himawari using a Tailed Beast Bomb

Himawari Uzumaki is now a full-fledged Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki who also managed to figure out a way to extract and use Kurama’s chakra. She has shown rapid development, which was observed by Jura himself. Himawari rushed to Inojin and closed his wounds immediately with her Kurama chakra.

Jura realized that her abilities had a direct link to the Tailed Beast. Cho-Cho and Shikadai, who were currently at the scene, were instructed to take Inojin and leave the battlefield.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 also showed Himawari’s character development when she acknowledged the responsibility that came with having such overwhelming powers. Jura attempted to attack Himawari, and the latter responded with a Tailed Beast Bomb.

Jura commended her for her ability to adapt. However, the sheer difference in their abilities was highlighted moments later when Jura outclassed Himawari during their exchanges.

Sarada Uchiha was fighting Hidari, one of the Shinju who chose her as his target. Hidari was slowly processing the information that he needed. He identified the Sarada’s eye and realized that the Sharingan was an essential piece in mastering the Chidori.

The only thing Hidari fully understands is his need to consume Sarada. Much like the previous fight, Sarada was outmatched after a couple of exchanges. Konohamaru attempted to neutralize the situation but failed to do so.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 cuts to the fight that took place between Himawari and Jura. Moments later, Boruto managed to save his younger sister in the nick of time. The manga once again cut to the fight that took place between Sarada and Hidari.

Boruto had toads in strategic points, and they were constantly communicating with him. He was informed that Sarada was in an ideal position and that he could transport to the square shape.

At first, the message seemed cryptic. But, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 showed that the protagonist needed to know the exact spot to use his Flying Raijin Technique to teleport instantaneously. He used the technique to teleport to Sarada and joined the battlefield to help her out.

Conclusion

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 had plenty of exciting moments. However, Sarada could have received more screen time to show her new skills. But that wasn’t the case and she was reduced to a “damsel in distress” trope which might have upset the fans.

That being said, the upcoming chapter should give some insight into the true powers of a Shinju and how they would compare to the likes of Boruto in the manga.
