According to the alleged Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers, the upcoming chapter will be titled 'Thorn Soul.' The manga chapter opened with a face-off between Boruto and God Tree Hidari. However, Boruto placed his sister Himawari on the ground before fighting and asked Konohamaru to protect her.

Right after, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers saw Hidari attack Boruto. Boruto blocked the attack and pushed Hidari away by using Wind Style: Breakthrough. However, instead of attacking the Otsutsuki again, Hidari used the opportunity to teleport away using one of his Claw Marks.

Elsewhere, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers saw Kawaki and Delta reach Jura's location. With Boruto, Team 10, and Himawari nowhere to be seen, Delta confirmed their positions by speaking to the Sensory Unit. As for Kawaki, he felt bothered by Jura standing on the ground in a daze.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers then switched back to Boruto and others as Konohamaru questioned Boruto's actions. Sarada immediately asked Konohamaru not to question Boruto; had it not been for him, she would have died. Right after, Boruto asked the Sensory Ninja to focus on the Claw Marks and inform him about the slightest of movements. This is because the enemy could spring out of anywhere.

Sumire Kakei and Sarada Uchiha then began discussing how Sarada was Hidari's target. Sarada had also heard Hidari telling her that he wanted to devour her and all her techniques. While Sarada wasn't certain what that was about, she knew it had something to do with her father, who turned into a tree. This information piqued Konohamaru's interest as Moegi had been turned into a tree as well.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers then saw Boruto explaining to others that Hidari was a being that had manifested from Sasuke Uchiha's Chakra. Konohamaru was confused about where Boruto got all that information from. However, the protagonist did not have time to explain and asked his master to concentrate on the enemy. Just then, the Sensory Ninja informed Boruto about the chakra he could detect from Claw Marks all over the place.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers then saw Claw Grimes emerge from the Claw Marks. Boruto told Sarada that he would focus on the Claw Grimes. In the meantime, he asked Sarada not to engage with any enemy and only focus on possibly countering Hidari.

With the plan in place, Boruto took on multiple Claw Grimes. As for Sarada Uchiha, she was caught by Hidari, who emerged from the location by teleporting through a Claw Grime. Fortunately, Boruto spotted this immediately and attacked Hidari with a Rasengan. While a major portion of Hidari's body got blasted away, he managed to get away using his Claw Mark. Hidari returned to his hideout, restoring himself using the black cube.

After Hidari was healed, he returned to the battlefield but immediately returned to the other side. During this, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers saw Sarada devise a plan for them to defeat Hidari. For this, she asked Boruto to fly up in the air. However, such a move would be useless as Hidari himself could not fly. Instead, Boruto decided to use Rasengan Uzuhiko with Maximum Output on Hidari.

Boruto explained to Sarada that Uzuhiko was a move that used a planet's chakra. Given that the technique had no limits, it was capable of defeating the God Tree in one blow. However, to charge up the jutsu, Boruto needed to take the planet's chakra into his body through his feet. Thus, flying was out of the option.

After hearing Boruto's explanation, Konohamaru Sarutobi wished to help him. Thus, he asked Sumire and the Sensory Ninja to look after Himawari. Meanwhile, he protected Boruto and Sarada from oncoming attacks by Hidari. Moments later, Hidari caught hold of Sarada. However, the kunoichi countered the God Tree's move by hitting him with Chidori Stream.

After Sarada immobilized the enemy, she threw Hidari toward Boruto, setting him up for Rasengan Uzuhiko. While the jutsu hadn't charged up entirely, the protagonist did not have a better option. Hence, Boruto attacked Hidari with Rasengan Uzuhiko. This move saw a whirlpool blast away all of Hidari's body except for his upper torso.

Just then, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers saw Kawaki arrive at the scene and finish off what was left of Hidari. This attack saw Hidari completely vanish. His only remaining body part was a fruit-like core. Boruto picked up the fruit and had the toad sitting on his shoulder see it. The toad's eyes were seemingly connected to that of Kashin Koji.

Kashin Koji confirmed that the object in Boruto's hands was a "Thorn Soul," a substance required to bring back Sasuke. Just as Boruto was set to keep it with him, Kawaki stopped him and asked him to explain what was happening. While Boruto explained the situation, Kawaki did not understand how Boruto knew all about this.

Just then, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers saw an attack pass through Boruto's chest. This attack saw Boruto drop the fruit and fall. The attack was launched by God Tree Jura, who hadn't moved from his location. Apparently, he had high precision and was capable of shooting the Bijuu Bomb in laser-like form.

Seeing the "Thorn Soul" on the ground, Sarada remembered that the fruit was essential for her father's return. Hence, she tried to pick it up. This moment saw Jura fire another attack as it went through Sarada's arm, leaving her injured.

Lastly, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 spoilers saw Jura using his powers to pull Hidari's "Thorn Soul" towards himself. Upon retrieving it, Jura declared that he wished to finish Boruto.
