Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 is set to be released on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Evidently, there are still around two weeks left for the manga series to release its next chapter. As fans wait for the same, the series' magazine V Jump released a preview for the upcoming chapter.

The previous chapter saw Boruto teaming up with Sarada to fight Hidari. After they defeated the God Tree with some help from Konohamaru and Kawaki, Boruto collected Hidari's Thorn Soul Bulb, an entity required to bring back Sasuke Uchiha. Just then, God Tree Jura attacked Boruto and retrieved the same.

With the V Jump preview, the manga series hinted at the conclusion of the confrontation between Boruto and God Tree Jura.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 V Jump preview hints at Jura overwhelming Konoha

According to the preview for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13, the upcoming chapter is set to see something devastating happen with the Hidden Leaf Village. This is evident from the preview hinting at the fall of Konoha.

Such a suggestion is bound to leave fans wondering whether the preview is hinting at the destruction seen at the start of the series, i.e., the flash-forward. However, given how Boruto has yet to unlock his Jougan in the manga, this development is far from possible.

At the end of the previous chapter, just as God Tree Jura retrieved Hidari's Thorn Soul Bulb, he was shocked to learn that Boruto knew about them. Thus, upon identifying Boruto as a threat to the God Trees' existence, Jura decided to kill Boruto and spare Kawaki as fodder for the Ten-Tailed Beast.

Hence, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 will certainly see the God Tree head towards the village to attack the Seventh Hokage's son. This could be how the Hidden Leaf Village is overwhelmed by Jura's tremendous power.

However, with Boruto and Sarada injured by Jura, the remaining shinobi on the battlefield are Kawaki, Konohamaru, Nishi, and Sumire, all four of whom will likely fall short against the might of Jura. Hence, fans can only hope for some other Shinobi to come assist them in their time of need.

Given the circumstances, fans can expect Kashin Koji to fight Jura. Otherwise, the manga could showcase the return of old characters like Sakura, Kakashi Hatake, or the current Hokage, Shikamaru Nara.

That said, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 preview hints at the end of Jura vs. Boruto. Hence, there lies the possibility that the protagonist might recover from his injuries and fight the God Tree in the same chapter.

As for the Thorn Soul Bulbs, the manga only described them as entities required to recover people who have been turned into God Tree. However, given the way Jura panicked after learning Boruto knew about them, there is bound to be some more significance attached to them. Hence, fans can expect to learn about it in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13.
