According to the official website of Shueisha's MANGA Plus, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 will be released on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, for most fans worldwide. However, due to the manga's simulrelease schedule, the chapter will be released the next day, i.e., on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 12 am JST in Japan, followed by some other countries in the East.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12, titled 'Thorn Soul Bulb,' saw Hidari repeatedly go back and forth between his hideout and the Hidden Leaf Village to heal himself. During this, Boruto revealed what the God Trees were to his friends and fought Hidari alongside Sarada Uchiha.

However, considering how Hidari kept healing himself, Boruto needed to defeat him instantly. Thus, he chose to attack him with his Rasengan Uzuhiko at Maximum output. Soon after, Boruto hit Hidari with the incomplete version of the jutsu. Just as the protagonist started regretting his decision, Kawaki arrived at the battlefield and destroyed what remained of Hidari's body.

This development saw Boruto obtain an entity known as Thorn Soul Bulb. Just as Kawaki enquired the protagonist about the same, Jura attacked him and Sarada and retrieved the entity.

What to expect from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13?

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 can take two story paths. It could either see God Tree Jura attack Hidden Leaf Village in hopes of killing Boruto Otsutsuki or see the God Tree return to his hideout to help Hidari recover.

If Jura arrives at the village, fans will likely see Kawaki, Delta, Konohamaru, and others try to defend Boruto and Sarada. Otherwise, the manga could see Konohamaru and others take Boruto and Sarada to the village's medical department to get them healed. Such a development could also unveil some flashbacks, revealing how Boruto learned about Thorn Soul Bulb.
