The Boruto manga has been entertaining to read so far. Unfortunately, the fanbase has to wait a month for a chapter to be released. This wasn’t really a problem until the Two Blue Vortex manga chapters started coming out. This section of the manga has been paced incredibly, and the plot progression has been exceptional.
Currently, the protagonist seems to be in a dire situation, and Jura seems to have the advantage on the battlefield. Kawaki also joined the battlefield, and it seems like he will soon receive the screen time that he deserves.
Fans feel that the protagonist and Kawaki will duke it out following the destruction of Konohagakure. According to a theory, Kawaki will take on Boruto, who will be in an awakened state, which means he will take on Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

Boruto: Fan theory explains how the protagonist will awaken his Jogan and Kawaki would take on Momoshiki Otsutsuki
Jura has the upper hand at the time of writing. However, the protagonist could use assistance from the likes of Sarada and Himawari to heal. However, the crux of the theory is the awakening of the protagonist’s Jogan. So far, there’s not much that we know about the eyes, except for a few powers.
What we do know is that the protagonist’s growth in the series seems to have come at a cost. When he managed to defeat Kawaki briefly, he was forced to flee from the battlefield when Kawaki activated his Karma Mode.
It’s clear that he does not have as much control over Momoshiki as he once did. The resonance effect could be crucial in activating his Jogan and Kawaki could be the most important piece in this puzzle.
If the protagonist allows himself to stay in Kawaki’s presence and allows the resonance effect to take place, Momoshiki could potentially resurface. When this happens, it could also awaken the Jogan when Kawaki’s Karma Mode gets activated.
If this were to happen, the protagonist would make quick work of Jura, and the long-awaited battle between Kawaki and Boruto could ensue. There is also the chance that Kawaki could consume the Thorn Soul Bulb, which could lead to a potential transformation—one that would grant him a whole new level of powers.
The fight between Jura and the protagonist could lead to the destruction of Konoha. This was the very frame that was shown in the first chapter of the manga series. Kawaki, in his new transformation, could be strong enough to go toe-to-toe with Momoshiki Otsutsuki, who has taken over the protagonist’s body.
This fight would be quite entertaining to watch, as fans will witness the peak of ninjutsu in the upcoming set of chapters.
