Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15: Boruto and Kawaki join forces as Ryu reveals his target

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 was expected to reveal the origins of Ryu and how the Shinju caught Gaara in the Hidden Sand Village. Fortunately, the chapter satisfied the craving of every fandom by showcasing the Shinju in their glory. Out of the Shinju, Matsuri raided the Hidden Sand Village. During her raid, Shinki was transformed into a chakra tree after he sealed Gaara inside an iron sand prison.

After this, Ryu was born from the chakra of Shinki. Ryu immediately caught Code spying on them using his Iron Sand. Code, despite trying his best to escape, got one of his hands amputated. He then made a deal with the Shinju regarding the chakra tree and escaped. The last part of the chapter saw Boruto and Kawaki join forces to defeat the Shinju while the former also unveiled a secret of Amado.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15: Boruto reveals Amado's secret as tension rises between the Shinju and Code

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, titled A Life Worth Living, commenced with a flashback from the past when Matsuri, Moegi's Shinju, raided the Hidden Sand Village. She fought Gaara as he protected the future generation of the Hidden Sand Village (Shinki, Araya, and Yodo) from the Shinju.

As time went by, Gaara was reaching his limit, and Shinki was adamant about helping his father. However, Gaara didn't want to risk the future generation over such a trivial matter. Looking at Gaara's persistence, Matsuri tried to push the young generation away. However, Shinki persisted and rushed towards Gaara, sealing him inside an Iron Sand Prison.

Shinki considered Gaara necessary for the future of the Hidden Sand Village, due to which he risked his life to seal his father away. Unfortunately, this left him vulnerable, and a Claw Grime bit him, transforming Shinki into a chakra tree. Before he lost consciousness, Shinki told his teammates to run and inform the higher-ups of the Hidden Sand Village about the situation.

Matsuri was impressed by Shinki's performance and wanted to see him as a part of Shinju. Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 then shifted to the Hidden Leaf Village, where Kankuro revealed to Shikamaru what happened between Gaara and the Shinju and how Shinki, despite being transformed into a chakra tree, was the only person who could release Gaara from his seal.

Kankuro also didn't want Temari to know about the current situation, so he advised Shikamaru to do the likewise. While all of this happened, Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 showcased a spy frog lying in the Hokage's room, listening to the conversation between Shikamaru and Kankuro.

The focus of Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 shifted to the Ten-tails hideout, where Ryu was born from Shinki's chakra. Right after his birth, he used his Iron Sand to pull Code out from another dimension as he was spying on their conversation. Jura told Ryu to leave Code for the time being because every Shinju owed him gratitude because he was behind their birth.

Code then jumped straight to his topic of discussion, which was that only he would get to eat the chakra fruit and inherit Isshiki Otsutsuki's will. Jura showed interest in the chakra fruit and teased Code about whether one of the Shinju should eat it instead. This triggered Code, who tried attacking Jura with his Claw Marks.

However, Jura amputated one of Code's arms using a beam. Code then screamed in pain as Jura told him his life lacked excitement. So, to add a purpose to Code's life, Jura proposed a deal before Code. Jura gave Code the task to find and kill Boruto Uzumaki and his hidden accomplice (presumably Kashin Koji), in exchange for which the Shinju owed him the chakra fruit.

Code immediately used his Claw Marks to stop the bleeding from his amputated hand and took a deep breath. After looking at Code's pathetic state, Mamushi (Bug's Shinju) felt happy for some reason. Code then mocked the Shinju for mocking him and agreed to Jura's deal. Code then escaped using his Claw Marks as the Shinju mocked him for his ignorance.

Jura then asked Ryu about whom his instincts told him to devour. Ryu relentlessly announced that he wanted to devour Gaara and was also capable of undoing Shinki's Iron Prison. The chapter shifted to the Hokage Rock, where Boruto was sitting on top of Naruto's face.

Kawaki appeared and approached the protagonist, not showing any signs of attacking. Boruto asked Kawaki if he was going to attack. Kawaki ignored Boruto's questions and asked him why he wasn't proving his innocence before the people of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Boruto said that he doesn't need to go out of his way to do such a thing because this could create more confusion and that the Hidden Leaf Village was good as it was. Moreover, the protagonist also stated that thanks to Sasuke, he was strong enough to spend a life alone.

Kawaki then asked about Boruto's karma and Momoshiki Otsutsuki. Although the protagonist didn't give a straightforward answer, Boruto's words indicated that Momoshiki could take over the next time he activated his Karma. Although Kawaki wanted to talk more about this, Boruto diverted the topic and stated that to defeat the Shinju, he needed Kawaki's help.

Boruto continued by stating that Kawaki could try releasing Naruto and train under him directly (because he was used to Naruto's company). However, this would take a long so Boruto recommended an alternate way. Boruto revealed before Kawaki that Amado was limiting his true potential, while Amado spied on them using a frog.

Amado was surprised over how Boruto knew about this and speculated that the protagonist could have joined forces with Kashin Koji (if he was still alive). Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 then returned to the Hokage Rock, where Kawaki accepted Boruto's offer and they joined forces through a temporary truce to defeat the Shinju.
