Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 will be released on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 12 a.m. JST. Given that Shueisha's V Jump magazine publishes its issues monthly, the upcoming manga chapter will also be released next month. Later, Kankuro contacted Shikamaru for help as the Hidden Sand Village had been attacked. Both Gaara and Shinki were defeated. While Gaara was fine, Shinki had been turned into a Divine Tree. It was then revealed that the fifth Shinju "Ryu" was based on none other than Shinki.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 will most likely reveal what happened in the Hidden Sand Village. Effectively, fans can expect to see a flashback centering on Gaara and Shinki. While the manga did not reveal who led the attack on Sunagakure with the Claw Grimes, given Code's absence from the series, it's very likely him.

Otherwise, given how Matsuri was seemingly out on a mission a while ago, she might have been the one who attacked the village and acquired the Shinki Thorn Soul Bulb to harvest Ryu.
