With the release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10, the manga gave fans several new developments. However, one development that stuck with fans the most was Himawari's activation of the Kurama chakra. As surprising as it was, the manga gave fans an even more shocking development.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga confirmed that Himawari had more potential than her father, Naruto. While fans had huge hopes for the character, they never thought that she would actually inherit the nine-tailed beast from her father, Naruto Uzumaki. This is especially true after the fact that Kurama passed away in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga.

However, now, evidently, Himawari has not just inherited the tailed beast but has also been revealed to have the most potential.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 saw Himawari and Kurama accept their new situation. Thus, moments later, when God Tree Jura attacked them, Himawari kept asking Kurama to help them, as she had no idea how to use his chakra.

That's when Kurama snapped at her. While it is true that Himawari had no idea how to use the tailed beast's chakra, that did not mean that she could just command him to help her. The only one who could do something in their situation was Himawari. Hence, whether Himawari used or quashed his shared chakra entirely depended on what she would do next.

As per Kurama, Himawari Uzumaki's chakra had a high affinity with his chakra. This affinity surpassed all of her predecessors, even her father, Naruto Uzumaki. Given the fact that Kurama was the main source of external chakra for Naruto, Himawari having a higher affinity for the tailed beast than him meant that she had more potential than him as a Jinchuriki.

As fans would know, Naruto Uzumaki was entirely in sync with Kurama and easily used the chakra granted to him. However, unlike the situation with Naruto, where it took the Seventh Hokage years before he could befriend the tailed beast, Himawari and Kurama had a good relationship from the get-go.

This, along with Kurama's claim that Himawari has the highest affinity for him, confirms that Naruto's daughter has high potential. As one would know, most things are best learned or engrained into one if they have been practicing them since they were children.

Thus, Himawari being able to use Kurama chakra all while being in control as a child should help her surpass her father as far as it concerns using Kurama chakra.

This could also mean that Himawari could soon start using the Kurama chakra mode. Nevertheless, such a development could take some time because, unlike her father, Naruto, Himawari does not have enough battle experience.
