Boruto: Two Blue Vortex — Himawari was the "Wild Card" Kashin Koji never anticipated and chapter 13 strongly suggests it

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 spoilers are making their rounds on the internet, and fans are not disappointed. In fact, Kashin Koji’s return has been met with a lot of positivity, so it’s nice to see that the manga series has managed to keep the ball rolling for over a year now. The latest spoilers hinted at Kashin Koji’s hidden abilities and were far more important than what fans would have anticipated.

Another interesting observation is that Himawari Uzumaki is an anomaly in this case. She is the wildcard that Kashin Koji couldn’t foresee, which can be inferred when we dive deeper into his abilities.

As mentioned earlier, Kashin Koji has a unique ability that has wowed fans. The alleged spoilers indicate that he can look into the future. Based on what was shown in the panels, Kashin Koji foresaw Isshiki Otsutsuki's take on Naruto in the Baryon Mode transformation. He also foresaw other things, including Eida utilizing Omnipotence — the attack that switched Boruto and Kawaki’s places in the previous installment of the manga series.

However, he did not foresee Himawari Uzumaki having the Nine-Tailed Beast within her. The recent chapters revealed that Himwari became a full-fledged Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki. Furthermore, she also had the best affinity with Kurama, giving her the potential to surpass her father.

If this was the case, then why did Kashin Koji not foresee Himawari? This is a rather massive plot point, and he should have been able to predict it. Since he couldn’t, Himawari must have done something to alter the future. There is a high chance that she either knowingly or unknowingly performs a certain task that alters future events.

There is no doubt that she is the wildcard in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex at the moment. The dots still cannot be connected since a lot is still shrouded in mystery.

However, some fans speculate about the involvement of Shibai Otsutsuki at this juncture of the story. They have reason to believe that Shibai’s intervention not only blinded Kashin Koji from this aspect of the future, but it also gave Himwari access to the Nine-Tailed Beast chakra.

The resurrection of Kurama within Himawari certainly raised eyebrows, and there is a good chance that it is connected to Kashin Koji’s inability to foresee Himawari’s new powerup. However, fans can rule out the possibility of Boruto’s involvement since he will witness Kashin Koji’s powers for the first time in the upcoming chapter.

Fans must be patient as the upcoming chapters will reveal the true connection and cover the details in depth.
