This has given fans insight into what the fanbase can expect in the upcoming chapter. So far, the manga has not disappointed the fanbase with how the story has progressed.
However, the spoilers haven’t particularly caused excitement among the fanbase. While the likes of Himawari Uzumaki received the spotlight, there are a couple of fundamental issues that need to be fixed.
Based on the spoilers, one can observe the same errors that could be seen in the previous installation of the manga series. Let’s understand what these issues are and how it has undone a substantial amount of progress the manga had made up until this point.

Understanding how Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 is repeating the same old mistakes
One of the reasons why the current installation of the manga series is an entertaining read is due to a massive shift in the overall tone and atmosphere. The previous installations could have captured the stakes or the gravity of the situation, but they failed to do so.
When Two Blue Vortex showed signs of taking a darker route, readers were convinced that the same mistake would not be committed. In fact, mangaka Masashi Kishimoto also said the series wouldn’t be shy about taking a darker route.
Inojin being wounded by Jura looked like a step in the right direction. Fans were about to witness the first death since the time skip. This would have been a brilliant plot point that could have been used to pivot the series to a darker route.
However, the spoilers from the upcoming chapter indicate that all of this progress has been undone. As per the spoilers, Inojin will not die since Himawari used her abilities to heal him, all thanks to the new Nine-Tailed Beast chakra.
Inojin was not particularly relevant to the plot. Therefore, sacrificing him to amplify the darker elements would have been the ideal move from the writer’s standpoint, especially when viewers have expressed interest in a darker atmosphere. However, Kishimoto decided to have Himawari Uzumaki save Inojin despite the gaping wound that Jura had caused.
Another build-up leading up to an interesting fight was the battle between Sarada Uchiha and Hidari. The Shinju had picked their targets, and readers were finally about to see Sarada shine after the time skip. She has always been a character that had great potential. But she has been mistreated by the writers and never really had the opportunity to realize and show her true potential. Since she is Sasuke’s daughter, fans expect great things from her.
The fight against Hidari was the perfect setup in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. However, this was once again ruined when Boruto joined the battle. This was Sarada’s fight, and Boruto’s intervention might not have been the best move. Seeing Masashi Kishimoto make such fundamental mistakes at a crucial time like this is saddening. After progressing through the story for about 10 months, these mistakes could affect the overall reading experience of the manga.
The darker atmosphere the manga was slowly building was lost when Himawari saved Inojin. It failed to show the stakes and the sheer power of the Shinjus. Furthermore, certain characters like Sarada, who were sidelined for most of the manga, were finally about to shine. However, that, too, has been undone as per chapter 11 spoilers of the manga series.
