While Momoshiki had a huge part to play in the prequel manga, the Otsutsuki has yet to appear in the sequel series, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. That said, the manga hasn't left fans completely clueless as it has given them some hints on Boruto's latest stance with the Otsutsuki.
As evident from the aftermath of Boruto's fight with Kawaki, Boruto could not control his karma. This incident left Boruto horrified as he retreated from the location and could be seen calming himself down. That, in addition to the updates from chapter 12 has one fan theorizing that Momoshiki Otsutsuki could make his return in chapter 13.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex: Momoshiki may return in chapter 13
According to a theory by a Boruto fan on Reddit u/Educational_Role_964, Momoshiki Otsutsuki could return in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 13.
As seen in chapter 12, God Tree Jura attacked Boruto with a Biju Bomb manifested in a laser-like form. This attack hit Boruto below his chest and went right through his body. While the attack did not hit his vitals, Boruto was heavily injured, seeing him fall to the ground and lose his grip on Hidari's Thorn Soul Bulb.
As evident from Boruto's words, the Thorn Soul Bulb was very precious to the protagonist. So, unless he was incapable of holding onto it, he wouldn't have dropped it.
In the meantime, Jura, who had successfully retrieved Hidari's Thorn Soul Bulb, looked raring to kill Boruto. Therefore, the upcoming chapter could see the God Tree go after Boruto.
This situation could surprisingly see Kawaki defend Boruto. While he wished to kill his adoptive brother, given their situation, he could try saving him to attain intel and possibly fight other God Trees alongside him. But as fans know, Kawaki is quite powerless without his karma powers. Hence, he will likely rely on the power once again.
This move could effectively initiate Momoshiki Otsutsuki's return to the manga series. As previously seen in the manga, Boruto wasn't able to control his karma. Hence, when Kawaki activated it previously, Boruto's karma resonated with it and started activating. Boruto was horrified by this development and retreated instantly.
But now that Boruto was heavily injured and incapable of resisting the karma's activation, he could lose control of his body to Momoshiki Otsutsuki once again.
Such a development would lead to the reappearance of the infamous "Borushiki." Given what Momoshiki did previously when he was in control, fans could likely see someone getting injured badly or killed.
This development will likely be terrible from the protagonist's perspective. However, it should allow fans to see the full extent of his powers, which is something they have been looking forward to.
