Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 spoilers have already been unveiled, and the spoilers revealed the new gen Sand Village trio that fought against the Claw Grimes. In the past, the three sand siblings (Gaara, Kankuro and Temari) were considered the strongest shinobi trio from the Hidden Leaf Village that even the jounin feared.

However, the latest chapter of the sequel series introduced a new trio (Shinki, Araya and Yodo) which was the same one that visited the Hidden Leaf Village during the Chunin Exams. However, their appearances were updated as Araya's facemask was removed, and Yodo's facial features were more pronounced than they were in her past appearances.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 featured the new Gen Sand Village Trio

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 spoilers commenced with a brief flashback from the past when Gaara was fighting against Matsuri, Moegi's Shinju, as he protected Shinki and two of his other teammates from her. Despite Matsuri's relentless attacks, Gaara was adamant about saving the future generation of Hidden Sand Shinobi.

After witnessing Gaara's resolve, Matsuri tried to expel the children out of their range, but Shinki used a jutsu that sealed Gaara inside a prison. That led to Shinki becoming a chakra tree, leading to the birth of Ryu. However, Ryu's sacrifice paid off because his teammates ran away and told the village officials about what had happened with the Shinju.

In the past, the only shinobi trio from the Hidden Sand Village that had some buzz around the world were the three sand siblings (Gaara, Kankuro and Temari). The highlight of the trio was Gaara, as he was the jinchuriki of Shukaku, the one-tailed beast.

Moreover, as Shukaku's chakra was malevolent and difficult to control, Gaara went berserk when his emotions took over him. Combined with Kankuro's masterful puppeteering and Temari's elegant wind-release chakra, the trio was not to be underestimated.

However, after Temari married Shikamaru, the trio broke, and Hidden Sand Village was devoid of any team that could be considered a spotlight until Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, which introduced Team Shinki as the next new gen Sand Village trio.

Shinki is the adoptive son of Gaara and the user of the rare kekkei genkai Magnet Release. The kekkei genkai allowed Shinki to use Iron Sand as his weapon in battle, which was more effective than Gaara's normal sand. Shinki is the captain of his team.

Araya is a Hidden Sand Village shinobi and a part of Team Shinki. Despite having mastery over the sword, Araya is also a masterful puppeteer who displayed his expertise in the Chuunin Exams.

Yodo is a Hidden Sand Village shinobi and a part of Team Shinki. Despite having mastery over taijutsu (just like Rock Lee), Yodo's ninjutsu technique is also formidable in that she uses her hair to generate high-frequency sound waves to distract her enemies.

Final thoughts

Despite having new appearances, Team Shinki still couldn't do much for their village in Boruto: Two Bue Vortexi chapter 14. Team Shinki could be similar to the Ino-Shika-Cho of the Hidden Leaf Village, but as both of them consist of supporting cast members, there are little chances of them getting a spotlight in the future.
