Bye Bye, Earth episode 3 recap

In the previous episode, Sian Lablac visited Dram to repair his sword, which was damaged during his recent fight with Belle. The two discussed Gaff's ignorance about the creation of sacred ashes and how Belle could fulfill their wishes.

The episode then cut to the Arena of Blades where Kir Royale was set to duel with Belle. Though typically confident, Belle was affected by the curse, which prevented her from cutting anyone with her sword. Thus, despite delivering a powerful strike to Kir, he remained unwounded. She managed to secure her victory by disarming Kir and shattering his sword, but she was booed by the audience for the act.

The King then appointed Belle as a soloist, but before she could become a nomad, she had three tasks to complete. Meanwhile, Sian secured his freedom from the King but was condemned to live as the dead. It was also revealed that he was the King’s brother.

Later that night, the Rabbitia consumed a Philosopher’s Stone and transformed into an anthropomorphic rabbit. He disappeared from Belle’s room and appeared at the pub where soloists, whose swords Belle had broken, were contemplating using sacred ash provided by Adonis. The Rabbitia reclaimed his stolen pocket watch, induced hallucinations in the soloists, and took the sacred ash.

The following day, Belle came to the rescue of her foster parents, who were unfortunately abducted by some evil soloists. She also learned that they had a daughter named Bellein, meaning Belle’s little sister. This eased Belle’s concern that her foster parents had moved on from her. She informed her parents of her intention to become a nomad before taking her leave. She then realized she had lost the pendant her parents had given her.

Belle encountered a man named Rabbitia, who introduced himself as Kitty the All. He invited her to a nomads' tavern called On the Rocks, where he requested a song from a troubadour. The song, which was about embarking on a journey, mentioned the name Belle, which meant the little one.

Belle was overwhelmed with emotion. She realized her parents had also heard this song and had anticipated that she would leave, yet they had given her all their love. Rabbitia departed, leaving her with the pendant he had recovered from the soloists.

Based on the Bye Bye, Earth episode 4 preview, it looks like Belle will continue her journey with Kitty the All. She also seems to have gained the nickname Sword Thief. The episode will be titled Spell of Proof Still Distant. Unfortunately, there is not much more information available at this time, except that Sian and Adonis are going to be up to something.
