In the previous episode, the Topdogs entered Katakombe, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the marching bands. As the vanguards advanced further, they encountered a massive spider-like creature. Gordon acted rashly and attacked it, splitting the creature open and releasing hundreds of smaller spiders. The creatures swarmed the Topdogs and took many of their lives.

Adonis urged Belle to leave the area, but she ventured deeper into the enemy's lair. There, she stumbled upon Benedictine, who was on edge and accidentally shot at Belle out of fear. At that moment, Gordon reappeared and attacked them.

Benedictine quickly realized that Gordon was a zombie, being controlled by someone else. She managed to bring him down with multiple magic arrows, but he kept getting back up. Belle then broke Gordon's sword, and Kitty arrived to set him on fire. After the intense encounter, Benedictine, overwhelmed by stress, lashed out at Belle, who accidentally broke her sword in order to defend herself.

Once Benedictine had calmed down, the group continued their journey and reunited with the remaining Topdogs. They arrived at a sacred lake revered by the Underdogs and witnessed Tiziano manipulating the corpses of both Underdogs and Topdogs to reenact the decisive battle between good and evil. As Tiziano noticed them, she sent the corpses their way, but they managed to escape.

The party then encountered an Underdog conductor named Gin Buck. They learned from him that Tiziano had initially proposed an alliance with the Underdogs to fight against the Topdogs together. However, upon seeing Adonis, Tiziano lost her mind and began attacking anyone in sight. This was because Adonis had been the one to break the news to Tiziano that the man she loved was dead.

Next, an alliance to take down Tiziano was formed between the Underdogs and Topdogs, and everyone was assigned a role. It was also revealed that Adonis' family was present. His father, Tom Collins, explained to Belle that their family, although living outside the castle, were not evil but rather defenders of Katakombe.
