My Hero Academia Chapter 428 spoilers have been making their rounds on the internet. The manga has concluded its story, and Kohei Horikoshi is covering the aftermath of the final battle. The city is slowly returning to its original state and there was an air celebration.

Citizens were finally breathing a sigh of relief and it was all thanks to the efforts of the heroes who defeated All For One and Shigaraki Tomura. That being said, the spoilers focused on Uraraka Ochako and her fight with Toga.

Based on what the spoilers have revealed, fans were furious with the manga artist for not revealing the truth behind the actual conclusion of the fight. The way it was handled by Kohei Horikoshi incurred the fanbase’s wrath. The spoiler panel conveniently used the phrase “cameras were off” to avoid showing the truth behind the fight that took place between the two aforementioned characters.

Disclaimer: This article contains massive spoilers from the manga chapters. Furthermore, it also contains spoilers from Chapter 428 which hasn’t been released at the time of writing.

My Hero Academia: Why were fans furious with the way Horikoshi handled the fight?

Toga has always been perceived as a villain by society, and rightfully so. There were plenty of nefarious things that she had done in the My Hero Academia series. However, her most defining moment in the manga was seen during the fight against Uraraka Ochako, one of the more popular deuteragonists in the series.

When these fights were taking place, all of it was being covered by the media. Citizens across the country could see their heroes fight for them, but the recent spoilers revealed something that annoyed the fanbase.

Towards the concluding phase of the fight that took place between Ochako and Toga, the latter sacrificed herself. She realized that Ochako got through to her and helped her when no one else did. When the hero was on the verge of death, Toga transferred all the blood she had.

As per the spoilers from the upcoming chapter of My Hero Academia, the cameras were switched off and the world never got to see what Toga did in her dying moments - help a hero come back to life in her dying moments. Fans were quite upset with the manga artist for the way it was portrayed.

How My Hero Academia fans reacted to Toga’s fate not being revealed to the world

"having toga's sacrificial play not make it into the recording is such a kick in the f*****g ba**s since this chapter said she's dead without saying it," said one fan.
"Camera's turning off means no one will know what Toga did for Ochako. Toga will go down in history as a monster. Only Ochako knows the REAL Toga. Imagine a teen having to deal with that burden. It's something she can't express cuz she wants to help recover & maintain optimism," said another.

It's quite clear that fans are unhappy with the way Toga has been treated by the manga author. The society will not know about Toga's final moments and the impact it had on society as a whole. Her actions allowed Uraraka to stay alive and fight the villains. It's saddening to see that Toga will always be remembered as someone who did nothing but wreak havoc.

"i dont really know what would have caused such a reaction from ochako unless she is 6 feet under, tbh," said one fan.
"Well technically it’s clear she’s dead," said another.
"so nobody can see the kiss smh," said one netizen.

Some fans were hopeful that Toga was still alive. However, that most likely isn't the case since Uraraka was crying thinking about her.

This indicates that Toga potentially died after their fight. Another portion of the fanbase also joked about Toga's feelings towards Uraraka. They believed that the cameras were turned off because no one could see the two characters kiss.
