Following the latest release of author and illustrator Tatsuki Fujimoto’s flagship manga series, fans were dismayed upon learning that Chainsaw Man chapter 169 would be preceded by a break week. However, that break week is finally over, with the issue set to officially release at 12 am Japanese Standard Time this coming Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Likewise, fans are eagerly searching the internet for verifiable spoilers on Chainsaw Man chapter 169, desperate to learn the full fallout of the series’ recent events. However, unfortunately, there are no verifiable spoilers available as of this article’s writing, and likely won’t be made available before the digitally-published series’ official release.
That being said, there are some aspects of and events within Chainsaw Man chapter 169 that fans can count on being present even without the help of verifiable spoilers for the series. Unsurprisingly, these primarily revolve around the resolution of Denji and Asa’s recent interaction, as well as setting up what’s next for the series.
Chainsaw Man chapter 169 all but guaranteed to see Famine Devil Fami reveal she’s had Nayuta all along
Chainsaw Man chapter 169 will likely begin with some very casual dialogue as it focuses on the full group of Denji and co sitting down and eating a meal at Sushishi. Katana Man will likely be raucously discussing what happened between Asa and Denji in the alleyway, believing he’s helping to defuse the tension when in reality he’s making it worse.
This should transition into a focus on Asa and Denji, who will likely be shown as eating in silence and not paying attention to anything going on around them. Further focus will likely be given to Asa, upon which fans will learn that War Devil Yoru has been trying to plead and reason with her regarding her actions this entire time.
Chainsaw Man chapter 169 should see Yoru reveal her true colors, eventually revealing that she’s only concerned for Asa as a result of their impending fight with Chainsaw Man. Asa will likely shoot Yoru a disappointed or judgemental glance here after learning her true intentions for apologizing, upon which Yoru should call it quits and disappear for a while.
Focus will likely then hone in on Famine Devil Fami, who’ll proclaim that she’s done eating and rush everyone else into hurrying up. She should then explain that they need to hurry up so Yoru and Denji can fight, upon which Asa and Denji will both snap out of their funk and pay attention to her.
Chainsaw Man chapter 169 should see Denji try to argue against fighting, saying he doesn’t want to do anything right now as he feels so down in the dumps over what happened. Asa will likely agree, claiming both she and Yoru aren’t in the mood to fight right now. Fami will likely be shown somewhat understanding of both of their stances at first, before calling someone else in the restaurant over or making a call on the restaurant’s phone.
At this point, it’ll likely be revealed that Fami, Barem Bridge, and the Chainsaw Man Church have been in possession of Control Devil Nayuta all this time. Denji will likely make a move to rescue her, but be restrained by the other Weapons Hybrids as they reveal themselves. The issue should then end with Fami essentially telling Denji he either fights Yoru here and now, or she kills Nayuta.
