With Pochita’s latest rampage as the Hero of Hell already having major consequences, fans are eager for Chainsaw Man chapter 173 to show what comes next in the series. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too long, as series author and illustrator Tatsuki Fujimoto won’t be taking a break week prior to the next issue’s release.

Unfortunately, however, there is no currently available verifiable spoiler information for Chainsaw Man chapter 173 as of this article’s writing. Chainsaw Man chapter 173 should open up with a brief continued focus on War Devil Yoru, who’ll likely rush out of the restaurant in a frenzy to fight Pochita. Asa Mitaka will likely communicate with Yoru as she does so, ridiculing her for moving both by herself and before gathering further intel on what Pochita can do.

Yoru will likely respond by either ignoring Asa outright or telling her she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. In the case of the latter, Yoru will likely reference something driving her beyond the revival of nuclear weapons and her own power. Asa will likely try to dig further into what Yoru means by this, but be completely shut out as she focuses on trying to locate Pochita.

Chainsaw Man chapter 173 will likely shift focus to Pochita at this time, seeing him prepare to feast on another Devil whom he just killed in chapter 172’s events. Fans can expect commentary from the Public Safety agent seemingly watching the fight to reveal exactly who Pochita is consuming, followed by something which establishes the impact of their consumption.

This should also prompt the appearance of at least one more Special Division from Public Safety to try their hand at subduing Pochita. They’ll likely be unsuccessful here, but fans should at least get an opportunity to see more excellent action from Pochita as he deals with this new group of enemies.

Once they are dealt with, Yoru should finally arrive at Pochita’s location, confronting him just as he eats yet another Devil from his recent massacres. Yoru will likely speak to Pochita here in order to communicate some additional exposition on their history and relationship with one another, as well as reaffirm Yoru’s goals for fighting him.

However, just as she’s ending her speech, Pochita will likely charge at her without warning, barely giving her enough time to create a weapon to defend herself with. Asa will likely ridicule Yoru, saying that this is exactly what she was trying to warn her about on the way over to Pochita. The issue will likely end with Yoru refusing to back down, turning to face Pochita as he’s seemingly confused on why he wasn’t able to take her down in one shot like the others.
