This has led to a lot of fans, particularly on the social media platform Reddit, coming up with more Kobeni Death Devil theories, with some believing that her mother is said Devil.

It is further emphasized by Yoru's comments, where she doesn't seem to care about the well-being of the Tank and Gun Devil, who are her "children." Kobeni has stated that her parents forced her to work with Public Safety or sell her body, which goes to show a very demeaning and negative way of parenting.

On the other hand, author Tatsuki Fujimoto has never revealed who the Devil Kobeni did a contract with, and was also shown surviving death time and time again, which could fit with the concept of the Death Devil.
