With Denji’s plan to escape the Aging Devil’s world apparently already underway, Chainsaw Man chapter 185 should elaborate to some degree on what that plan is exactly. Resultantly, readers are desperate for any and all leaks they can find on the issue ahead of its official digital release on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 12 am Japanese Standard Time.

Unfortunately, there are no verifiable spoilers currently available for Chainsaw Man chapter 185 as of this article’s writing. Moreover, these spoilers are unlikely to come given the series’ digital publication nature, which inherently makes it much more difficult to obtain regular spoilers. Resultantly, fans shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for such leaks on chapter 185 to come.

However, there are some likely directions for Chainsaw Man chapter 185 to head in given what fans currently know, even without the help of any story-based leaks. While elaborating on Denji’s plan is almost certainly one of them, the issue is also likely to start bringing other characters back into the story as Denji and Asa return to reality.

Chainsaw Man chapter 185 likely to bring Yoshida back in the fold

Chainsaw Man chapter 185 should begin with a continued focus on Denji speaking with the Aging Devil about his plan. Aging will likely question how Denji’s plan could already be underway, with Denji continuing to run laps while explaining. He should eventually answer that his plan is to run until he throws up, puking up another Devil, which may be able to get them out of the Aging Devil’s world.

Denji’s logic will likely be predicated on the fact that it began snowing when the Snow Devil’s corpse was thrown up into this world, circumventing the rule against Devil powers. Denji will likely puke shortly thereafter and vomit up the Octopus Devil as a result, summoning both several octopuses and the Octopus Devil itself to the world. As Denji begins speaking with it, the focus should shift to Hirofumi Yoshida in reality.

Yoshida will likely be shown resting somewhere on the battlefield, recovering from injuries, which should be confirmed as coming from Pochita. Yoshida will likely be in the middle of speaking when Denji throws up the Octopus Devil, prompting him to try using it. This should lead to Asa Mitaka and Denji appearing next to Yoshida, excited to see that they escaped the Aging Devil’s world.

Chainsaw Man chapter 185 should see Yoshida demand an explanation, specifically for how Denji is separate from his main body right now. This should prompt Denji to explain how he was able to pull off the trick he did while fighting Control Devil Makima. In turn, this should also illustrate how Pochita and Denji will become one body again. Although it’s possible they remain separate for a brief period of time, it seems unlikely at this time.

Yoshida will likely make an effort to stop Denji, choosing to prioritize his role as a Public Safety Devil Hunter at this moment. This should prompt Asa and War Devil Yoru to step up and fight him, which is how fans will get the rematch from their fight at Asa’s apartment where she first lost one of her arms. The issue will likely end by setting up this fight, seeing them give Denji the opportunity to go find and reunite with Pochita.
