Following Hirofumi Yoshida’s return and immediate enactment of a plan in the last issue, Chainsaw Man Chapter 189 should see some shocking events happen. More likely than not, these will revolve around Yoshida abusing the rules of Aging Devil’s world and Denji’s connection with Pochita to ensure his, Denji, and Asa’s return to reality.

Unfortunately, verifiable Chainsaw Man Chapter 189 spoilers are currently unavailable as of this article’s writing. Such leaks are also unlikely to come in general thanks to the series’ digital publication nature. This approach is diametrically opposed to the print practices which allow series to develop regular spoiler processes.

However, Chainsaw Man Chapter 189 is likely to follow one of two major routes considering what Hirofumi Yoshida’s plan seems to be at this point in time. More likely than not, Yoshida intends to abuse both the rules of the Aging Devil’s world and Denji’s physical connection with Pochita to get himself, Denji, and Asa out of Aging’s world.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 189 will likely begin with a focus on Pochita’s fight against the Aging Devil in reality. Since it is aware of Denji’s plan and current cannibalistic actions, it will likely begin by commenting on how annoying it is to have to fight Pochita over and over again. This should lead into a sweeping focus of the area, showing both how many Public Safety agents and others have died and how much of the building has been destroyed.

Chapter 189 should then see a lull in the fight created by Aging getting some space between itself and Pochita. As Aging muses on how to achieve its goals, a hand should suddenly pop out of Pochita’s mouth. This hand should be none other than that of Hirofumi Yoshida, who is doing so by reaching into Denji’s stomach and out Pochita’s mouth. From here, Yoshida should call on the Octopus Devil’s powers, with one of two things then happening.

The first would be that Chainsaw Man Chapter 189 sees a shift in focus back to Aging’s world after Octopus is summoned. Asa will likely be screaming at Yoshida, who has his arm down Denji’s throat, about how there’s no chance this will work. Suddenly, the trio should be wrapped up in octopus tentacles and transported back to reality where Aging and Pochita are. Aging will likely be incredibly shocked at both their escape in general, and that Yoshida helped them.

Chapter 189 will likely then see some dialogue exchange between the trio and anyone else present, including the Aging Devil. The issue should then end by at least setting up Denji, Asa, and Pochita versus the Aging Devil (and possibly Yoshida) for the subsequent release. However, the other route chapter 189 could take is seeing Yoshida summon Pochita and Aging into Aging’s world rather than trying to get himself, Asa, and Denji out of it.

This could create a situation where, because Aging is trapped in his own world which has no escape, he can’t use his powers to leave or destroy it. This option seems particularly likely due to the fact that the only answer may be Pochita eating the Aging Devil. This would both allow Yoshida to escape while boosting his clout in Public Safety. In this scenario, Chapter 189 likely ends with a tense standoff as Denji, Asa, and Pochita weigh their options.
