Chainsaw Man chapter 189 began with Yoshida sticking his hand into Denji’s stomach and out of Pochita’s mouth. He tried using the Octopus Devil to drag himself through, but the tentacle was immediately cut. Yoru then shoved her hand through, attempting to attack the Aging Devil with a bang, but missing because she couldn’t see and aim. She then crawled into Denji’s mouth, with her upper half subsequently protruding from Pochita’s mouth.

However, the Aging Devil was waiting with a bang attack of his own, which caused Yoru’s face to age decades in moments. Upon returning to Aging Devil’s world, she asked if she was still beautiful, which Denji and Yoshida confirmed since her face was back to normal. Pochita, meanwhile, continues to hack and slash at Aging Devil, which causes him to use Fumiko Mifune’s large intestine to heal himself while saying this only adds to the death toll.

Aging then tried to convince Pochita to eat him before noticing a second Fumiko standing over the first. The second said she promised herself that, in her dying moment, she’d side with the likelier winner. The second then says she’s leaving it to the first, who says she gives her heart to Yoshida as she’s clearly dying. The issue ends with Yoshida telling the Octopus Devil to swallow it, prompting a giant feminine face with octopus-like features to destroy the building in reality.

Chainsaw Man chapter 190 will likely begin with some sort of focus on whatever Yoshida has summoned, likely confirming what it is exactly. That being said, the most likely answers are it either being the Octopus Goddess, or the true form of the Octopus Devil. However, the former seems most likely if only for the recent introduction of the apparent Gun Goddess.

Chapter 190 should also provide an explanation on how this will help Yoshida, Denji, and Asa Mitaka/Yoru to escape the Aging Devil’s world. More likely than not, this will be explained as Yoshida attempting to simply kill the Aging Devil, with the issue ending by showing Aging struggle against whatever it is Yoshida summoned.
