With Hirofumi Yoshida having summoned some form of the Octopus Devil in the previous issue, Chainsaw Man chapter 190 should begin with some clarification on what exactly this is. While many fans are confident that it’s the Octopus Devil’s true form, there are others asserting that it could instead be the Octopus Goddess, especially with the Gun Goddess recently debuting.
Unfortunately, verifiable Chainsaw Man chapter 190 spoilers are currently unavailable as of this article’s writing. Such leaks are also unlikely to come in general thanks to the series’ digital publication nature. This approach is diametrically opposed to the print practices which allow series to develop regular spoiler processes.
Thankfully, Chainsaw Man chapter 190’s main focus should be fairly predictable even without the help of verifiable spoilers or leaks on the upcoming issue’s events. Unsurprisingly, the Octopus Devil-esque creature Yoshida just summoned should be the issue’s main focus, likely via an explanation on what it is as it fights the Aging Devil.
Chainsaw Man chapter 190 likely to see the Aging Devil overpowered by Yoshida’s apparent Devil summoning
Chainsaw Man chapter 190 should open up with a continued focus on the Aging Devil, Pochita, and the Octopus Devil/Goddess that Hirofumi Yoshida just summoned. More likely than not, the issue will initially focus on seeing it fight the Aging Devil (and possibly Pochita also) rather than Yoshida explaining what it is. In fact, the first inkling of what it is exactly may even come from the Aging Devil itself.
This explanation may even be given by both Yoshida and Aging in tandem, the former explaining it to Denji and War Devil Yoru/Asa Mitaka while the latter generally comments in the context of their fight. It’s also likely that a brief focus will be given to Fumiko Mifune, or rather the two Fumiko Mifunes, in order to at least tease the truth of what’s going on there. At the very least, it should confirm whether or not the original or “first” Fumiko Mifune is now dead.
However, a majority of Chainsaw Man chapter 190 will likely focus on Pochita versus the Aging Devil versus the Octopus Devil/Goddess. While it’s possible that Yoshida is able to somehow control the Octopus Devil/Goddess, this seems unlikely. Moreover, it’s to Yoshida’s benefit for the Octopus Devil/Goddess to fight and capture Pochita considering his professional status as a Public Safety Devil Hunter.
Chapter 190 shouldn’t exclusively focus on the fight, however, also bouncing around to some other character groups, like the Japanese government members. They were in the building which has now been destroyed by Yoshida and Octopus. Former Minister of Finance Tadashi Hasegawa is one of the few likely to still be alive. Also likely to join him is Kentaro Ishita, the current Prime Minister of Japan, and one or two other cabinet members who were present.
Finally, the issue should give some dedicated focus to Yoru/Asa, Denji, and Yoshida in its final pages. Denji and Yoru/Asa will likely be congratulating Yoshida on effectively attacking the Aging Devil, but questioning how this will help them escape. Yoshida will likely have a plan, but not fully reveal it to them in this closing focus. Instead, he’ll likely say something which teases a major part of it as focus returns to reality and the free-for-all is ongoing.
