Code's journey through the Boruto franchise might be nothing short of a disappointment, adding to the speculation that choosing him as his revenge might be a mistake by Isshiki. However, Two Blue Vortex did tease a pact between him and the Shinju, hinting that the antagonist might get his hands on the chakra fruit. Moreover, this might be his redemption point.

After getting reborn from Madara Uchiha, Kaguya Otsutsuki absorbed the Divine Tree to gain its powers. However, the prequel didn't specify how she absorbed the Divine Tree, speculating that it could be due to a recently introduced element, the Soul Thorn. Code might do the same after killing Jura, thus obtaining his Soul Bulb and awakening Isshiki Otsutsuki with the Rinne-sharingan.

Boruto: Exploring Code's Similar Fate to Kaguya Otsutsuki

Code is one of the supporting antagonists from the Boruto franchise introduced as the one who inherited Isshiki Otsutsuki's will after the latter's defeat. However, his performance in the series might be lukewarm at best given how he has hardly inflicted any damage on the Hidden Leaf Village and the shinobi world.

With the start of Boruto Two Blue Vortex, Code was humiliated by the protagonist, eventually leading to the birth of the Shinju from the Ten Tails. Later, Code was humiliated by the beings created through his jutsu technique. In Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, while the Shinju welcomed their new member, Code spied on them through his claw marks.

After Ryu pushed him out of the time-space, Code started acting bossy and tried attacking Jura. However, Jura amputated his arm on the spot. A pact between these two parties eventually followed this as Shinju agreed to give Code the chakra fruit. Code then left, humiliated. While Code's current character might not showcase his true potential, his future might be tied to Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Kaguya Otsutsuki was reborn from Madara Uchiha after the latter activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Afterward, Madara's body was thrown away, and Kaguya absorbed the Divine Tree and gained the abilities of the Ten Tails. However, the reason behind this wasn't revealed, as to how she absorbed the Divine Tree. Fortunately, the answer to this might have been revealed later.

In Boruto Two Blue Vortex, after Hidari's death, his body excreted a bulb-like mass called the Soul Thorn. This was later used as a way to give Hidari rebirth. This 'Soul Thorn' might be what Kaguya used to absorb the Divine Tree (Ten Tails). Similar to Kaguya, Code might do the same thing.

In a final fight against the Shinju, the protagonists might defeat Jura but his Soul Thorn might be stolen by Code. After absorbing the Soul Thorn, Code might finally awaken the Third Eye, the Rinne-Sharingan. Moreover, this might also be accompanied by the return of Isshiki Otsutsuki and Code receiving the powers of the Ten Tails (as he absorbed Jura, a part of the Ten Tails).

Take this article with a huge grain of salt given how it speculates events from the past that didn't receive any closure. Code's time might come in the manga and might be similar to the theory explained above. So, take this theory as a form of entertainment and wait for official confirmation from the source.
